Okay. I'm not sure what to get my mother for Mother's Day. She would probably like things like Diamonds and a New Car, but I can't afford something like that. What are some legit gift ideas? I'm not very good at choosing gifts. Also my grandmother, she's 89, I'd like to get her something as well. Ideas for her as well? I appreciate jokes, but I also like real answers.

Quick and easy answer; gift card, not sentimental, but it does the job. Sentimental answer; something that shows you know and understand her. Something that relates to what she likes and enjoys. ( my mom loves wolves, I found a painting of a wolf pack) Sweet answer; make her dinner, maybe get her a movie she would want to see. most of all, just spend some time with her and your grandmother. Hope that helps

I'm going to do the old coupon bit like kids do, for hugs or wash your car or something. The coupon is going to for us two going out to lunch, my treat, redeemable any time.
It's corny but I know my mom will get a kick out of it, and that's all that matters.

I know this is going to sound corny since I don't know your situation, but just call her and tell you you love her. Something I wish I did when I moved away.
or play her this song.... and language warnings aboud
and yes my mom loved this song.

Treat her to lunch or something. I know it sounds corny, but your company will be a great gift for her.
