It's almost laughable how a guy that TNA did everything in their power to bury for years and years suddenly shows up in the WWE/NXT and is treated like a hero. This company had no idea what they were doing most of the time, even when they had the talent to at least become a decent alternative. Jarrett's promotion is coming around at the right time as all/most of the TNA talent will be able to find work elsewhere. No big loss (TNA, that is). Hell look how they treated AJ after he left You could say that New Japan did what TNA wouldn't do with Styles, made him into the star that he should've been. They have embraced him as one of their own, I'll never forget his face after his match with Suzuki during the G1 when all of Korakuen Hall was standing and applauding and chanting his name.

I highly doubt TNA can find a new network after 2 straight failures on Spike and DA. There might have been some interest after Spike dropped them since it is wrestling and maybe some network could've molded TNA into something profitable, but nobody's going to take a chance on a proven f***-up. I see Impact moving to web exclusive or just TNA dying. Honestly I'd rather see them be just a webshow than to die completely. No more TV means no more "We do this because WWE does this" TV production standards meaning more money to pay talent. They would only be able to attract the bottom of the bottom rung of talent for such a no money proposition as that, especially with how tainted the TNA brand is at this point. No more TV deal means no more money, TNA struggles to get fans to attend their shows for free as it is.

I honestly have as many jokes about this company folding as I do jokes about Jose Lothario. I will miss the show threads greatly if this comes to pass

It could work if there were some pretty hefty sponsors involved, but TNA has enough of a problem with that now. Creatively, it'd be really interesting to see a no-network-involved Impact, though.

The funeral is at 8, and if you don't wear your RDV shirts, you won't be allowed to look in the casket.

Getting kicked off of two different stations twice over the span of just over a year has to be the nail in the coffin also. No credibility as a promotion

On the plus side if there's one thing that TNA does well it's funeral segments so hopefully we'll get one more before the hammer drops.

I mean...when you look at their timeline, it's not like this wasn't going to happen sooner rather than later. They moved up from FSN to Spike, they eventually got Sting on a regular basis, they gain Christian and Kurt Angle, they later got Hogan/Flair/Foley/RVD/Jeff Hardy and other recognizable big fish names. They got a video game deal and a deal with the former WWE toy manufacturer, Jakks Pacific. The show nosedived, they failed to compete on Monday, they changed days, ex-workers claim they weren't paid that well, the big names started leaving, they lost the FACE OF THE COMPANY in AJ Styles, their golden goose of an exclusive star Sting leaves, they can't do live shows anymore for cost, their tours aren't successful for the most part, Vince Russo is caught doing undercover swerving for the company, Spike cancels them, they get on a hillbilly network that most people don't get, their shows have the audience blacked out under the guise of style to hide the attendance, Dixie Carter is as oblivious as ever and endlessly tries to do damage control...and now another could've-been name in Samoa Joe jumps ship to WWE and TNA loses their new tv deal. And they still refuse to drop the TNA moniker and go with just Impact Wrestling, as if the TNA brand isn't damaged beyond repair.
That's a wrap, folks. Hopefully the talent can move onto Jarrett's promotion and won't be stuck in limbo working non-televised dates for peanuts. We have a handful of good alternatives to WWE - and strangely, one of those includes a WWE property in NXT, so I will shed no tears. The good talent will find their way through better promotions. Hopefully they sell the library to WWE for the Network, career retrospectives and for a hilarious Trip & Fall of TNA DVD.

Yeah, if TNA doesn't have a TV deal, they are dead. They can't even just run non-televisied shows like other indies because they can't make money off that shit now. Pretty much all their fault, BTW. When you burn people time and time and time again, that kinda pisses them off, even a loyal fanbase like wrestling fans.

Soooooooo, what happens to this board? Nothing. We stay the course and continue on! We are doing fine! The death of the promotion this board discusses isn't gonna detour us! Never mind what the dirt sheet writers and board moderators say!

I for one cannot wait for the tell all book about the behind the scenes goings on of TNA: "They Should Have Made the President Doink: the Dixie Carter Story"

Literally the only thing worrying me about this is that it opens the door for Bland'n'Blander to come back to ROH to dull up an ever improving tag team scene.

I hope it is the end of TNA because Dixie needs to be out of wrestling period. TNA been horrible way more times then being good and everytime they had into the right direction they find a way to screw it up. She has no clue how to market the company and made stupid move after stupid move they could been ways to make money and add creditability to the company that most of us saw a mile away and would never done it. Face it most of us on this board could do a better job than Dixie. People can tell me that I have no clue about running a wrestling show and your right I don't but neither did she when she took over.

The final episode is Dixie Carter popping the Jackie Gayda blackmail tape into a VCR, hitting play, and then we learn the dark, terrible secret: {Spoiler}Alex Shelley actually had no goddamn idea how to use a video camera.
