I don't mind. He isn't front and center in every sketch like Kate McKinnon and Taran Killam, so I never really get tired of Kenan.

He's not the lead in many sketches, but they throw him in to bug his eyes out and act shocked at whatever the sketch is actually about. And he puts no effort into his impressions anymore. I still kinda like Kenan, but I wish he would move on to something else.

He's one of those guys that I always feel like should be funnier than they actually are.

I feel like Bobby Moynihan is a lot more Local than Kenan is. He drags down every sketch he's involved in, without exception.

I'd expect Kenan to put on more watchable matches than either Kane or Big Show at this rate.

I always thought that Kel Mitchell had the true talent.

He hasn't been the same without Kel.

I always thought that Kel Mitchell had the true talent. Kel ended up the Marty Jannetty of the two when he obviously had more talent. Never understood how Kenan rose up like that but ah well

SNL hasn't been funny for quite sometime now. And it isn't becauses of Kenan Thompson, the comedians as a whole on the show aren't nearly as funny as Steve Martin, Eddie Murphy, John Belushi, Will Ferrell, Darrell Hammond, Phil Hartman, etc were when the show revolved around their talents.

I watched SNL the last two weeks (granted, this week was a repeat), after not watching it in forever. And I laughed really hard. The Louis CK skit with the elves and The Rock promo skit and Bambi trailer were all hilarious. I didn't think the shows would be funny, but they were surprisingly good. That may have to do with me being a fan of both of those guys and Louis CK having a terribly funny monologue. But it still counts for something.

He's just not funny anymore. He was funny as a teenager, because he was a teenager, being funny for teenagers.

Kenan is still a thing?
I thought he disappeared into obscurity after Kenan and Kel like Kel did. In fact I always considered Kel to be the successful one since he was in Clifford and that superhero film with Ben Stiller whereas Kenan I haven't seen in anything.

He played Fat Albert in the live-action film.

that explains why they didn't give him a sendoff during the last episode.
