I see this thread becoming a regular occurrence if TNA are renewed, every time RoH get a ratings spike 'IT'S ALL OVER FOR TNA!' Seriously, I keep passing through this forum and it's like Vince McMahon commentary, 'THIS COULD BE IT! HE'S GOT HIM! THAT'S IT! ONE, TWO AND.... NO!' DA get RoH, 'WHATTAMANOEUVRE!', TNA move to a new night, 'BIIIIG BACK BODYDROP!' That's because TNA refuses to die like a cockroach. TNA has survived things that killed off stronger promotions. As long as Panda Energy is still cutting checks, some network thinks pro wrestling can bring in viewers for the rest of their crappy lineup, and Dixie hopes her vanity project will lead to the reality show she so crave: TNA will live on. Barely. Exactly, the companies dead and its corpse is only around so it can satisfy Ditzy's ego. She's gone on and stated she'd rather it burn to ashes with her owning it than the company being successful under someone else. How ******* Megalomaniacal can a person be to act such a way?

I mean yeah, TNA is TECHNICALLY alive but let's be real here. They are dead. You know it, whoever's reading this post. I know it. Most of the talent knows it even if they want to put on a happy face. The only person that doesn't know it is Dixie Carter. Even if TNA survives this DA debacle, they are gonna be nothing more but a low-level indie with a bunch of bums fighting over breadcrums headlined by Manik vs. Khoya for all of 5 people in the crowd. At the very least, I'd call ROH the definitive #2 right now. I mean, they're growing with this DA deal, their production has improved, and they're actually acknowledged by WWE, whereas TNA is (presumably) still being cancelled in September, their production actually feels like it's gotten worse, and WWE won't even pretend that they exist.

ROH is #2 based on the fact that they are running shows and doing good crowds, selling them out. Whilst TNA hasn't ran an event since last summer.

I get that people care because they want ROH to kick TNA's ass. But to me the thing that really matters is that ROH put on a show that entertained me, and didn't make me embarrassed to be a wrestling fan. I can't say the same for a TNA show in the last 5 years.

Glad to see ROH's initial ratings holding strong. Thought this week's episode was far better than last week's too so hopefully they can build on that. I did fear they'd lose a lot of viewers after the first week interest so to see them almost hold on the initial rating and actually grow overall when you include the replay gives me a lot of hope for them. Fingers crossed it is just the start.

This whole article has been panned by everyone from the people on The Board to Bryan Alvarez himself. Miller has also gone on a rampage on Twitter on anyone who called him out on it (everyone) and is unlikely to write another article for a long time. So ... yeah. This is nothing to even bother about. It's all wrong, from top-to-bottom.

ROH viewership decreased in its first airing, but the replay improved compared to last week.
Next week its gonna be interesting of the fate of TNA and ROH in the coming months...

Wait, Ben Miller was the guy who was saying that ROH was sleazy because they paid their talent on time and focused on sustainable growth correct?

Wait, Ben Miller was the guy who was saying that ROH was sleazy because they paid their talent on time and focused on sustainable growth correct? Not sure, but it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibilities. This guy is clearly a TNA homer and ROH hater. Seems to be bitter about TNA being in serious trouble and ROH doing fairly well for themselves. He considers TNA a step about ROH and for a long time it was in bigger name talent and production value, but at this point I don't think TNA's production value is any better and ROH has gotten a lot of talent from TNA in the last year. Funny, because TNA's biggest problem has been considering themselves big league and tried to present themselves as competition to the WWE. In the end, he really misses the bigger picture. One of two things can happen for ROH with Destination America. They can become the key show on Wednesdays when TNA is cancelled, or they lost their slot as well. But the biggest difference is ROH operates within it's means, even *gasp* making a profit. If they lost the DA deal, they still have Sinclair and will be fine. It will hurt a little and possibly stunt their growth, but unlike TNA, they don't need the cable provider to survive. Also, if TNA lose this deal, I really can't see another cable channel picking them up.
