The why name a kid Kelly when last name is Kelly thread made me think we could ask other logical questions concerning the wrestling world.

Why bounce off the ropes? All you have to do is grab it. If you hit it right, it gives you a boost of momentum. You can hit your opponent faster, thereby making more impact. |

Why does pulling the tights make it harder for the other guy to kick out of a pin fall? They are far too embarrassed by the audience seeing their butt crack to focus on kicking out. |

Why does pulling the tights make it harder for the other guy to kick out of a pin fall? Presumably, it's protecting the guy from a worse punishment: If the person pulls the tights, then they've made it clear that if the person kicks out of the pinfall, then the momentum of the kickout will rip the guy's tights off. Considering that these are presumably men only wearing their tights and boots, if their tights get ripped off- then suddenly the pinned wrestler will find themselves completely naked in an arena in front of thousands of children and staffed with a number of police officers, presumably to see them instantly arrested and charged with a sex offense (similar to that one episode of Nathan for You.) |

I think legitimately killing someone isn't worth a simple pinfall victory ... unless you're a psychopath. Which, in that case, I can see the logic behind the thought. Most rational human beings would think that killing a person for one victory likely isn't worth the amount of prison time they'll be receiving. |
