I'm still a fan of TNA and want them to succeed. I have been watching since Day One of the weekly PPVs and I'm a big supporter of great talent like James Storm, Bobby Roode and Rockstar Spud. I think EC3 is one of the best heels of the modern era and actually hope he becomes the new TNA Champion. I'm hoping Jeff Jarrett returning means he's bought the company (probably cheap) and we will be rid of TNA's 2 biggest problems: Dixie and the name "TNA." I'm hoping his arrival means a "rebranding" of the company and it becomes GFW. I also hope this move is something Destination America supports 100% and they keep the show around for a long, long time. Sure it may be a pipe dream and me being in denial. I accept that. But I also want the entertainment I get from watching Impact every week to continue. And I do find it entertaining, I think the have been putting on consistently good to great shows since the first New York tapings last year. They just need to getaway from the "TNA" name, which is cursed.

Doesn't matter what you call it, the TNA brand is beyond damaged. As a WCW fan, I ignored the reality of finality until it wasn't no longer able to be denied. We're at that point with TNA. The latest dangling carrot is Double J taking over and saving TNA from the wrestling promotion graveyard. It's over.

My biggest thing on the company is that with all the terrible things the higher-ups have done, all the stupid decisions that have been made, and all of the opportunities they've wasted, I don't think they deserve to succeed.
Plus I want their stuff on the Network.

And that's fine. That's absolutely fine to like the show and want it to live. Hey, good for you.
It just needs to be stated over and over again, for good reason, that if this company goes under, it's their own damn fault.

The worst decision TNA ever made was bringing in Hulk Hogan and it's something they never recovered from. Me, as a longtime fan couldn't even stomach that awful run. They just never recovered from the damage he was allowed to do.

Doesn't matter what they do now. It's too late. They've had years to get their shit together and they can't/won't do it.

I think they've been doing their level best on a budget since Hogan left. If it's freaking Destination America that kills them, well...
remember the scene in Wolf of Wall Street where Belfort's complaining that of all things, it was Benihana that got him taken down?

I wouldn't put this on Destination America, I'd put this last stretch on Dixie being stupid enough to pass on a better-paying, more prominent network because she wants a reality show.

Probably the best thing for TNA at this point is to die. Haven't really watched GFW, so I can't judge the product, but maybe it's even best that a lot of the TNA talent gets absorbed into GFW and they can start fresh again.

Get people locked down in contracts for then and turn them free to work other places in the meantime, get to having a concrete plan for what all's going to happen when you resume, and be sure you make the best damn first impression possible for new and returning viewers.

TNA just isn't an effective alternative anymore. You could argue that it's always had problems, but when you combine the rise of ROH to national TV, GFW doing... something, and even NXT being oftentimes better than what Raw/SmackDown offer, TNA's left in the dust.

Doesn't matter. Cause there's a lot of wrestling fans like me that won't be interested in ROH and NXT and are continue watching Impact even if people over here shit on the company daily. I don't care if Dixie is stupid, I still watch Impact every week to watch my favorite stars. I think people are too agenda-driven.

After thinking about things the last couple of days and seeing the news of all the people leaving, I've changed my mind somewhat and want to say I hope GFW succeeds. Hell, let them take TNA's place on Destination America. I bet Jarrett picks up all the good talent (Storm, Aries, Roode, Magnus, Spud and EC3) and lets the rest go toil in the indies. We'll have no Dixie and the cursed name of TNA will be history.

Earth Stinger, why do you want TNA to succeed so badly? They have had chance after chance. If it's the talent, then you need to realize they can work elsewhere. Between ROH, Lucha Underground, PWG, New Japan, and even a few maybe going to NXT these guys can get decent jobs in wrestling and you can still watch them.

Selling whats left to Jarrett seems like their best option really as he might be able to convince Destination America to renew them at a reduced rate.
Dixie if she wants TNA to continue forward will definitely need to renegotiate with DA. But it seems with the cheaper and better option of ROH (which is better than TNA in every way) they are sunk.
But It can be turned around. If Dixie is willing to eat a tray of humble pies.
The full rebrand from TNA to Impact need to happen, sooner rather than later. Not half asses like in 2010. Tits and ass wrestling will never get there.
Dixie will need to reformat the show and let most of the roster go. She only needs 2 or 3 people for each division and then just pay people to come into wrestle them. Save EC3 vs Kurt Angle for PPV. Dont give it away on Impact.
Everything need to reboot and they need to accept that they are an indy, not WCW or even a main stream promotion.
It can be done if they spend as much time and energy building their brand and in market research as to what wrestling fans want as they have complaining and blaming eachother.
It can be done...But I doubt it will be.
