Public Displays Of Power
A common trait amongst those who feel the need to micro-manage is being unable to accept anything other than high standards, and it’s well-known that Vince McMahon won’t tolerate anything but what he deems the best from his in-ring talent. This is something both Rhyno and Tajiri found out the hard way during a 2003 house show match.
According to Rhyno, McMahon told him that he didn’t want to see any mistakes in the match, right before the wrestler went through the curtain to work. An agent had told Rhyno that if the crowd ever chant boring during a WWE match, Vince wants his performers to slap on a transition hold, like a chinlock, and ride it out. Apparently, this was poor information.
The crowd did chant boring during a routine spot of the match, so Rhyno slapped on a hold, prompting the chants to get louder. Having seen enough, Vince himself strolled down the ramp and told both guys to “go home” (finish the match). Afterwards, the boss even told Rhyno that the agent who told him to slap on a hold obviously hadn’t been a top guy, because top guys save their money and don’t have to become agents.
Taking Things Very Seriously
After the breakup of The Shield, WWE booked former members Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins in a feud with one another, looking to capitalise on the latter’s association with top heel group, The Authority. Concocting an in-ring segment which would see Ambrose pick apart a mannequin dressed to resemble Rollins, McMahon had high hopes for what this could do to add weight to the storyline.
Talking on Chris Jericho’s podcast about the planning of the segment, Ambrose laughed as he recalled McMahon showing him how he wanted to act when the cameras started rolling. Remarking that it was almost like Vince was in the room with the mannequin alone, Ambrose said he couldn’t believe how into it his boss was getting with the dummy, almost spitting with anger as he said things like, “I’ll rip your arms off”.
The segment would end up drawing a fair bit of criticism from fans, who felt it was a little hokey, but Ambrose was only acting the way he’d been instructed by the boss, looking on wide-eyed as his superior went face-to-face with the inanimate object and said he was going to pick it apart limb from limb.

LMAO !
Number 1: Vince McMahon's Top Gear
In an interview earlier this year, Court Bauer recalled to Bryan Alvarez how, after a meeting in Stamford one night, he ran into Vince in the car park, and was then challenged to an impromptu drag race by the billionaire CEO. Reluctantly, Bauer went along with it. Bauer was then pleasantly surprised when his own vehicle (which wasn’t a patch on Vince’s car) actually managed to catch up with Vince. Bauer then claimed that Vince’s response to this was to try and drive him off the road. Frightened, Bauer slowed down. “Let me get this straight,” a shocked Alvarez then asked Bauer, “You’re saying Vince tried to KILL you?!” “Vince likes to win,” Bauer responded. Yikes.

That Jericho/Rourke story right before WM25 was awesome
Read sth on reddit today: Kofi came up to him (around 2010?) and repeatedly asked Vince if he got a problem with him...Vince's dry question instead of an answer: "what are you gonna do about it?"

I think My favorite Vince story is him silently getting up and leaving the room when the writer pitched Unfrozen Nazi Supersoldier Heidenreich.

His eating habits. I guess he loves snow cones, and puts ketchup on burritos. However, he calls burritos steak sandwiches.

Except Christian was long gone by the time the Spirit Squad appeared. The Spirit Squad existed in developmental long before it appeared on TV.

I always envisioned the pitch being like this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=EauV2oJdqJ8-Vince just staring at him. -Stephanie shocked -Heyman in permanent facepalm -Hayes laughing his ass off

Before their Hell in a Cell match, Jericho and Trips were trying to come up with ways to get to the top of the cell, and they went to Vince. Vince's idea was that they shoot webbing out of their hands and swing up there, Spider-Man had just came out in theaters.

Its amazing Vince was even aware that Marvel made a Spider Man movie given the movie came out like two weeks before that match. It usually takes him a decade to catch up on pop culture. Heck, he had that Wayne's World gag happen with Angle and Edge on SmackDown leading into that PPV and that movie came out a decade earlier lol.

Jimmy Wang Yang (about a year after he was fired in 2004ish) is backstage at a pay-per-view trying to get some free tickets, impress a girl, etc. when Vince shows up.
Vince: Jimmy! Where've you been lately? Jimmy: Uhh you fired me a year ago. Vince: What?!
Later someone asks Jimmy backstage if he could help them with a Spirit Squad spot they wanted to use on someone. He's fine with it but Michael Hayes has some hesitation.
Hayes: Vince are you sure you want to use Jimmy since I mean he's not under contract. Vince: What?! Well he should be under contract!
And then Jimmy Wang Yang got his job back.

According to one former WWE writer Kash and I know, at least during that period, Vince showed up at Titan Tower every day with BTO's "Taking Care of Business" blaring.
The plane incident with Angle and Undertaker has to be up there.
