First off, Heyman is the greatest and most compelling promo in wrestling history in my opinion. He. Is. Incredible. He really is. You can see why the ECW guys loved working for him even without any money. If Paul Heyman wanted to start an ACTUAL cult, he'd already have dozens of followers by the end of the week. Also, Brock's 40? Holy crap. he's the inverse Rhyno to me. I always think of Brock as mid-30s at most. No, he's 37, maybe 38. Same age as me and Cena.

Maybe it's cause he was gone 8 years so isn't so old in TV years but I still kind of think of him as a current-gen guy.

Think about it this way, why weren't Orton, Reigns, or Cena out there to stop the brawl? Because they have contractual stipulations excusing them from having to separate any fights and therefore can suffer no repercussions for refusing. Top Guys have leverage in negotiations and have watched enough wrestling to know what sort of things to demand.

I want him to be my advocate in everything, cutting a promo for everyday crap, all day every day... -ordering my meal when I eat out -answering job interview questions -talking me out of a speeding ticket -etc, etc...

I didn't give a single shit when Heyman was talking. I didn't care when Taker first showed up. But oh mah goodness, that brawl was freakin' FANTASTIC and immediatly sold me on their match. I would have been happy if it would have been nothing but brawl for the rest of the show.

Still think if Taker gets his win back then it utterly ruins the Streak ending because it means the big payoff is The Conqueror was conquered by.....the guy he beat who is retiring soon. But that has me interested in the match. Nope. They're not getting me into this. I don't care. Random-ass main event no one was clamoring for, involving 2 guys who won't be around again until the Rumble. A paternity test that tells us that Heyman is Taker's real dad wouldn't make me want to see this match. It would for me given Heyman's younger than Taker. Time-Travelling Womaniser Paul Heyman is a licence to print money. This is absolute Gold

Guys i'm outta here!!. JBL & Cole finally did some worldclass announcing Obviously, they were doing it to sell the brawl, but it also helped that you had no commentary involved and that the action in the ring spoke for itself. I'm not exactly thrilled about the match happening, per se, but now that I finally saw the brawl... damn, I was impressed.

As far as it taking so many guys to keep them apart, can always start building your own kayfabe into it. Axel Curtis holding UT back? Why would he bother giving much energy to it, even if he was told to do so? The other guy was the meal ticket that got Axel dropped as a Heyman guy, he probably wouldn't mind letting UT "slip" to get a few more knocks into Paul's client. Mark Henry's had his ass beat into the ground by both of them, why would he bother putting much effort into keeping them apart? Let them take each other out would be more his thinking.

Also a good nod to continuity, since it's the announce team getting out of dodge from a situation with an out-of-control Lesnar about to wreck shit, obviously not wanting to suffer the consequences once more.

Sometime in the next few weeks, I want one show where both Brock and Taker (not on the same show mind you, piece it out for maximum value) go on a show long rampage like 1997/98 Kane when he ran in on EVERY SINGLE MATCH and laid out everybody with chokeslams. Justify it as punishment for getting involved in their business.
