Dear lord, if you're gonna have Taker get his win back, just do it and get it over with. I'm already agin them feuding and Taker going over in the first place; damn sure don't wanna see it dragged out for months.

What I would like to see, that will never happen: During the build up we see Taker has been taken out backstage. He is taken away in an ambulance. After a week of mystery, Owens or Rusev come out and show video of them taking out the Deadman. Why did they do it? jealousy, they wanted the spotlight and opportunity, Taker's old ass took it away from them.
They take Taker's spot vs. Brock. That match ends in stupidity because of course it does. Said stupidity is Taker coming in to beat the dude up.
That leads to those 2 having a match, so new guy gets exposure vs. Taker and Brock, and a dumb idea is avoided.
Never, ever going to happen, but I am going to pretend.

On his podcast, JR suggested that Brock beats Taker at SummerSlam, but then loses to him in Taker's retirement match at WM. Sounds ok to me. Lesnar beating Taker at SummerSlam, cool. Losing to him at Mania should never, ever happen. Have Brock beat him again and send Taker out on the note that yes, his time is done, or have Taker beat someone else. No matter the circumstances Brock at this point is somebody he should never beat.

I still think taker's last match should be against Kane in a double retirement match.

Taker could do a rocky balboa storyline (and lose)

I still think taker's last match should be against Kane in a double retirement match. I say it should have been Mania 28. 20-0, End of an Era (what era that was, I have no idea), on the heels of Lesnar returning the next night to help pick up the slack, would've been a perfect time. Failing that, should've called it a career at Mania 30. As it stands... Screw it, do Taker / Sting. I don't want to see it but it's clearly where the demand is.

So once again Lesnar is facing an over the hill opponent instead of facing fresh talents like Orton, Ambrose, Cesaro, Rusev, and etc. :Sigh: And the WWE still will mock WCW for relying on old stars But you're forgetting, it was stupid when WCW did it {Spoiler}This is a joke

Taker battles back against all the odds and finally beats him in his last ever match, in possibly the biggest WM ever. And then retires. What's the issue there?

It makes it look like ending the streak was a, "Could've gone either way," thing, when it should be portrayed as Taker just plain found the man who's better, is able to overcome him on the grand stage, and is able to keep doing it. Plus Lesnar's the one who's sticking around until at least Mania 33 (or was it 34? Forget the details of the new contract) and has spent the past year and a half being portrayed as completely invincible. The kind of build Brock's gotten, no sense having him lose to someone about to retire.

I haven't watched the WWE in months, the promise of a past his prime Undertaker beating one of the most dominantly booked wrestlers in ages isn't exactly going to get me interested in tuning back in.

Doesn't this bury the hell out of Roman? Not exactly a good sign if the guy that's supposed the next big huge sexy badass face of the company couldn't do something that a 50-year-old could.

Reigns is honestly looking pretty bad right now in general if you really look at things. He has three consecutive PPV losses, has three times this year been in a situation where he would've either won the title or basically a guaranteed claim to it and choked, and at this point doesn't even really seem to be passingly interested in the belt. Really should be winning the title at SummerSlam instead of faffing about with Bray - Mania was too early but right now seems like the ideal time and like he'll suffer if he waits too much longer.

I mean I couldn't care less if Roman's champ or not but this seems like the wrong way to go if WWE still wants him to be Cena's successor.

It's like they completely forgot the role veterans are supposed to take when they're in the twilight of their career. All they care about now is making money ASAP and figuring out what to do with everyone else later.

I just want to say I hate how the main event run-in DQ has become the go-to plot device to start feuds. Such an uncreative cop-out way of doing things. OH MY GOD, JOHN! JOHN THAT'S BRAY WYATT! SISTER ABIGAIL!

I can't stop laughing, if this is true they are hilariously clueless. "Brock, we're going to build you up. Turn you into the unstoppable beast you should have been from the moment you got here. First you're going to beat The Undertaker and break the streak; it's going to be an unforgettable moment, and then go on a run of dominance, destroying Cena, Reigns and Rollins and being the WWE champion. This is all so we can eventually build up someone to finally beat you; The Undertaker." Brock: "Hey, so long as my check clears, I don't give a shit."

I bet that Taker feels disappointed in his match with Brock at Mania 30, and wants another chance to have the great match it should've been. I think that's a large reason why this match is happening, and WWE feels like they owe it to him and figure "well we can't book for shit anyway, let's bring out the big guns".
Either that, or WWE threw Josh-esque buckets of cash at Undertaker because they realized they dont have a story going into Summerslam.
