Not sure whether this belongs here or in (W)rest, but I had no knowledge of John Tenta's WCW run until I saw this picture and literally did a double take: Now granted, the idea is something that -could- work, but it just... doesn't. It just looks kind of sad. I also nominate Jeff Hardy's facepaint while he was still in the WWE. I don't know if it's just the type of paint he was using, but damn if it didn't look completely amateurish the way it always melted together during his matches, even more so because the designs weren't much to write home about either. I don't think he really perfected it until he was in TNA, and even that's arguable.

Don't have a picture handy, but the original Demolition pizza slice paint. Looked freaking terrible.

I'll move this to Wrest. More time periods and promotions to consider, lack of current face paint wearers, etc.

The Ascension's red triangles are pretty damn bad.

Heidenreich's "LOD 2005" facepaint. Couldn't you just see him wearing that while raping and reading poems to Michael Cole?

That's... that's gotta be Kane(s)! How about this one Jeez. They had more rough designs then I remembered. Still sorta badass though.

Poor guy spent like 12 hours getting his LSU Tiger tattoo turned into a shark, since as John himself said, "I can't be running around with a tiger on my arm if I'm a shark" weeks later he wasn't the shark anymore. Trusting long-term WCW planning, this one is really on him, though.

Heel Crush in 93-94 WWF was pretty crap. Just lazy. And I was never super into this version of the LOD... Much prefer the more polished look of later days.

Never cared for lazy Warrior. One solid color, I know he did all blue once and all black once...or when he just painted tiny Warrior logos on his face.

Couldn't you just see him wearing that while raping and reading poems to Michael Cole? I don't remember that Heidenreich make-up... To me, he looks like a white version of the Devil Robot from "Futurama". And then there's...
