If they can manage to stay on a network, by my calculations, the last episode will air on April 5, 2063.
That same day, a man named Zephram Cochrane will make history as the first human being to travel faster than light. This will in turn draw the attention of a science ship from the planet Vulcan. They will alter course, land on Earth, make First Contact with Mr. Cochrane, and join him at his favorite bar.
Where they will see the last episode of Impact airing on one of the Tv's. This causes great pain to their purely logical brains, and they leave, placing Earth under a general quarantine.
Boom. No United Federation of Planets, no Starfleet, no Enterprise, no Captain Picard, nothing to stop The Borg in the 24th Century from going back in time and assimilating Earth.
We have to stop TNA. For the sake of the future.

So we need someone to do their best to destroy TNA and keep it off TV? Who'd have thought humanity would be saved by Dixie Carter?

Comedy is one thing, but the executives don't realize the horrors they would be unleashing on the Vulcans. And if the Klingons ever discover that Mr. Anderson is a thing, what do you think Earth's chances are in the ensuing Great Intergalactic War?

Why'd they have to go and get rid of Tazz? I'm pretty sure he can communicate with the Tamarians.

The Klingons will have to retreat after Matt Hardy eats all the gagh and Jeff drinks all the bloodwine.

Just show the Vulcans clips from The Johnsons, Orlando Jordan, the whole Hogan era, Brooke Hogan, and Gunner. They'll surrender, making someone watch impact is a human rights violation, and against the Geneva convention.

Who knows, maybe the Vulcans will finally receive the signals from TNA's broadcast by then, and the reason they came to Earth in the first place was to save us from TNA.

So we need someone to do their best to destroy TNA and keep it off TV? Who'd have thought humanity would be saved by Dixie Carter? It all makes sense... remember EC3's old catchphrase "The World Needs Us" he was telling the truth! Why'd they have to go and get rid of Tazz? I'm pretty sure he can communicate with the Tamarians. Nah, His evolutionary chart was more Potato than cat.
