As a Davey Boy Smith fan: Sometime after he turned heel in '95 and he cut off his long hair. Then when he came back to the WWF in '99 and lost the Union Jack outfit for jeans.

Val Venis in 2001 when he cut his hair, got some horrendous dance music and ditched the pink for plain white tights.

D'Lo Brown after he lost his chest protector lost my interest The generic Low Down pants were the worst. I also really loathe Lance Storm's generic red trunks.

Did Greg "Boxcar" Valentine do anything besides jack-crap when he dyed his hair black, wore an old HTM suit and big sunglasses; more or less becoming a low-rent Roy Orbison impersonator?

The Powers of Pain were doing well as a team until they split them up and gave them new looks. Barbarian as the deer hunter and Warlord in armor were forgettable compared to their run as a tag team.

I disagree, at least on Warlord, and he's the one guy from that era I'm genuinely shocked never got a token feud with Hogan. He was everything Vince looks for in a wrestler, and the armored look was cool.

They eventually left and went back to WCW as a team. Only this time they were the Super Assassins and they went all the way down the hill at that point. Barbarian had a brief run with the Headshrinkers as Sionne but that went nowhere fast. They're always the Powers of Pain whenever these two are booked on an indy show now because that's what people remember and want the most.

Scott Anton when he got "the CLAP". Not really, he wasn't a big deal before that either. I mean American Males and Flock member who lost all the time isn't much of a fall. He bounced back but when Dustin "burned" and ditched the Goldust gimmick to be plan Dustin in a T-shirt and jeans was a fail.

And that very brief time Dolph Ziggler "New and Improved" himself. As Buff Evan Bourne. I disagree, at least on Warlord, and he's the one guy from that era I'm genuinely shocked never got a token feud with Hogan. He was everything Vince looks for in a wrestler, and the armored look was cool. Their looks were memorable but their careers went downhill after that. They're always the Powers of Pain whenever these two are booked on an indy show now because that's what people remember and want the most. Barbarian teamed with Haku as the Faces of Fear. And The Faces of Fear were much better than the Powers of Pain. Warlord on the other hand, yeah he went downhill. He was nowhere near as good as Barbarian in the ring.

Kane when he lost the mask in 2003.
That was the beginning of the end for Kane in my view. He was scary, intimidating. He had mystery to him. The mask was a huge part of not just his look, but his character.

Matt Hardy's tights in 2009. Wasn't the same after his face turn in the same year.
