I love how he's incorporating new moves into his arsenal, but he shouldn't be doing flippy shit like that, especially at his size. Can't stand him, but I hope the dude is alright.

Cena kicking out at 2, followed by a "this is awesome" chant was not shown in that video.
In all seriousness, yes, Cena needs to stop the Indy move set. Not only do they lack any psychology but he's not a young man anymore. He's got a ton of mileage.

I have no clue why he's doing those moves on house shows, you already have their money.

Every time he does the move the general reaction seems to be something along these lines: ![](http://33.media.tumblr.com/b3b023695f15d09aed2e989f1542becc/tumblr_inline_my1s8jeNqN1s7fx81.gif) Can't say people didn't warn him, but hope he's ok and that it's the signal he needs to stop doing the move.

The thing that bugs me is, if he wants to add new moves to his arsenal, that's awesome, but there's DEFINITELY a way to do that that plays to his strengths. Find power guys on the indies, figure out what they do. Emulating the flippy guys by doing moves beyond your reach is a bad way to go.

It was a matter of time before that move would botch and it would end horrible for Cena.

A guy his size should not be doing moves that a cruiserweight does. It doesn't look good when doing it and he can risk injury kind of like what he did here. I hope he is okay but i hope ge stays away from tv if he is injured and i hope he stops doing those kinds of moves. He is better off sticking to his boring 5 moves instead of trying these new ones so late in his career

I mean, hell, I know the company's wary of acknowledging him in any way right now, but Hogan's Axe Bomber could use some dusting off, why not use and build that?

From what little I've seen, he has really progressed a lot this year from the past so I hope he is okay as it would be a really bad time for him to get a really bad injury. That being said, I'll echo a sentiment said in the past that Cena really needs to take some time off and WWE needs to let him do that.

KNowing that literally anything can happen with these falls, no matter how minor they look, I hope they found out there's nothing wrong and he just got winded. Either way, I think they should think twice about the moveset guys do, because certain body types are just less suited for certain moves.

Nobody even chants 'you can't wrestle at him", so why does he bother busting out moves that look like garbage in an attempt to prove otherwise? These things never look good and he's not actually proving any detractors wrong anymore since it's not even a widespread sentiment that he sucks, so all he's doing is quickening the unfortunate self-destruction that's going to leave him as the top star of his generation, but also the most broken-down.

Even the Hurricanrana that Cena does looks really bad. I don't understand why he insists on doing these moves. When Cena started doing those moves, that's when smarks finally accepted that he could wrestle. If all it takes is a few flips and "Indy" moves to change people's perception of a wrestler's ability, I wish everyone could do them. Many of the notable big power guys on the Indies are ALSO doing cruiserweight style moves. Look at their most recent signing, Apollo Crews. Hell the Indy big guys are MORE compelled to do flips and stuff because they're trying their damnedest to prove that they have more going for them than just size.

I always thought this, and a few other new moves added recently was to quiet the "You Can't Wrestle" chants. An injury like this is the very reason why their top faces almost always work a safe basic moveset.

Yeah, he botched it the first time that he went for it and it hasn't gotten cleaner since.

These guys also haven't had neck surgery and manage to hit their moves. Meanwhile Cena never connects with the Springboard Stunner, has botched the Yoshi Tonic multiple times and he gets close to spiking himself on his head with his hurricanrana every time.
