Steve Austin & The Undertaker won a Hell in The Cell Match over Kane & Mankind on Raw on June 15, 1998. Yeah, there was a span of time where they did a surprisingly high number of HiaC matches, most of which aren't remembered much now. They also did some off-camera Royal Rumbles, which kinda blows my mind.

I just didn't know that Austin & Taker won. The result for the longest time was that it was No Contest, but on the WWE Network, they have Extra Attitude which shows what happened when Raw went off the air, & Austin gave Mankind the Stunner & pinned him. This Raw also has the 1st & I think only Tag Team Royal Rumble, where every 30 seconds another Tag Team entered the match. Kane & Mankind won over LOD 2000, DOA, The New Midnight Express, Too Much, Steve Blackman & Faarooq, Bradshaw & Taka Michinoku, Terry Funk & Scorpio, Golga & Kurrgan, & The Headbangers.

Always knew this in the back of my mind... David Crockett was a creeper. JCP Nov 85 He was way too excited about Magnum kissing Babydoll. And he had a definite man crush on Billy Jack Haynes. He had a thing for his arms. In some weird alternate reality out there, 1985 David Crockett and 1995 Vince McMahon are co-commentating a Magnum/HBK match and trying to outdo each other in the creeper department. The real loser of the night was the janitor, who spent hours afterward mopping up the arena floor. If I didn't already love you, this post would definitely do it for me. Is it wrong that I wanna see that match?

At Backlash 1999 (April) When Rock and Stone Cold bust the stage set, JR refers to it as "The Walls of Jericho falling down!"
...Jericho didn't actually leave WCW until July but he's said the deal was done for a while before that, so intentional foreshadowing?

The rating for the Crockett/tbs studio shows is TV PG/Suggestive Dialog and Violence.

Judging by the pile of dogshit names for his finish Jericho published in his second book, he showed the actual memo, I'll wager no.

Viagra must of became a big thing in May 1998 because both WCW and WWF were making quite a few references about it.

Watching the post 'Mania XIV Raws, and man, there's a bizarre "prototype" heel Michael Cole in effect, shilling Mr. McMahon and losing his shit laughing at DX's antics. Weird to see.

That the Techwood Studios in Atlanta, Georgia (where NWA/WCW Championship Wrestling was filmed) was kinda a prototype of what we would see at Full Sail, except more in kayfabe and network-friendly.
Always hot, having nice kayfabe-friendly chants and some of the one-off liners somebody in the audience shouts made me laugh out loud.
Also noticed something that I don't think I have heard in all of WWE or something so far: People chanting for finishers: "Brainbuster! Brainbuster! Brainbuster!" "Gourdbuster! Gourdbuster! Gourdbuster!" "Lariat! Lariat! Lariat!"

Matt Hardy didnt just attend Superbrawl 3 (as a fan), but he gets his own crowd shot (he's holding up a sign saying "High Voltage and Sub-Zero in the house").

It had just been released and 99.9% of people involved in wrestling have the maturity level of a 12 year old at most. What was funny/sad especially in wcw was guys like Hogan,Nash,Piper and Savage thinking it was super edgy and clever to mention Viagra in every promo to 0 crowd reaction.

John Tenta being part of Pipers team for Uncensored 97 was out of the blue. Arn Anderson saying he wasn't ready was really dumb. Well, Arn would never actually be ready again, as he was sidelined with an injury that would force him into retirement later that year.

February 8, 1992 edition of Saturday Night's Main Event.
Roddy Piper no selling The Mountie's cattle prod because he was wearing a "shock proof" vest under his t-shirt is just as funny to me now as it was then. In fact it's even better since this time I caught Piper's reference to In Living Color by exclaiming "Roddy don't play that!" I assume this was them throwing a bone to Fox, which aired the last two installments of SNME's original run.
According to Sid, the only reason Hulk Hogan was (initially) given the title shot against Ric Flair at WrestleMania was because he is a "big movie star". Which is hilarious giving Hogan's filmography.
Sean Mooney casts a little shade on Sid. He is interviewing Sid and the Hulkster and says something to Sid about how they reconciled after Sid apologized. He is holding his microphone under Sid's face like he wants Sid to elaborate on this. But then Mooney immediately turned to the Hulkster to ask him a question. Nice subtle piece of storytelling to underpin Sid's jealousy and the dissension in the ranks amongst the two men.

Watching the Rock collection and they show him first promo as a Nation member and he says the DOA are the real racist group in WWE and given the Harris Bros. I see where he's coming from.

Watching old WCW Monday Nitro's. Jesus, it's really difficult to get through some of these, 1996 in particular.
They allow no time for anything to sink in or let people breathe. Everything is ''GO!GO!GO!''. Even when the second hour of Nitro begins there's fireworks and music playing and there could be a match going on in the ring at the same time! WTF?!
Not to mention the announcers just talking over everyone, even when wrestlers are cutting their promo and the damn camera angles switching every 2 f****** minutes. Yeesh.
