Both the NWA and World Class in the late 1980s employed jobbers made to look like Hulk Hogan (Randy Hogan in the NWA, Terry Hayes in World Class).

Just watched the September '92 Clash of the Champions a.k.a. The 20th Anniversary on TBS Edition.
It's always so ironic to me how early '90s WCW keeps throwing shade at the WWF by saying they offer REAL, ACTUAL wrestling while also serving up things like The Chamber of Horrors, Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal, and White Castle of Fear on a regular basis.

That one match between Norton and Rick Steiner was rough especially when Rick was dropped on his head

Nov. 17, 97. Rick Rude appears on both Raw and Nitro the same night. Says that Bret Hart is jumping off the Titanic and coming to the refuge of the NWO. That's a wild statement knowing what happens in just 3 and a half years. BRet basically climbed onto the Titanic just before it hit the iceberg.
At this point, both shows are constantly talking about each other and it really does feel weird. I really do get why WWE never talked about Impact outside of one or 2 tongue in cheek remarks.

I have to admit, watching 1997 and seeing wrestlers so willy nilly spitting on each other or bleeding and wiping it on people's faces gives me anxiety because of the world we currently live in. It's like watching 12 Angry Men and seeing that one sick juror constantly coughing in the small room.

On the Aug. 5, 1996 Raw, Jerry Lawler cut an in-ring promo about his "recent loss" to Aldo Montoya right before their "rematch." In reality, the match they were about to have happened first and the one referenced in the promo was taped the next night.

I have no idea what Stridex pads are used for, but I'm glad they sponsored a WWF PPV! I think they are like face wipes for people with acne.

I watched three random WCW shows from 2000 and during all three shows they did a spot where someone got low blowed but didn't react because (big reveal) they were wearing a cup! In two of the reveals somebody then shoved the cup in the attackers face. Quoting myself from a long time ago, but I just watched another 2000 WCW show and they had this spot AGAIN. This time Leia Meow low blowed Mike Sanders, he no sold it, revealed he was wearing a cup, and threatened to shove it in her face. I knew that I had posted in this thread before, and while using the search function I saw somebody describe ANOTHER case of this spot being used. That’s a minimum of five times this spot was used in WCW 2000. What the heck was with Vince Russo and cups, or more specifically, what was with Vince Russo and shoving cups in peoples faces?!?!

The one I saw described was a woman doing it to a man. The Leia one was the only one, so far, that was a man threatening to do it to a woman.

Watching U.K. Rampage 92 and I know it’s his natural hair colour but seeing Dino Bravo with black hair and red tights is weird to me.

Final Raw of 1997 has Austin tossing Goldust, dressed as the New Year's Baby, into a pot-a-potty and tipping it over. Goldust exits the john looking completely clean. He was wearing white so you'd know it if you saw something. So Roman tossing Corbin into one 23 years later and Corbin coming out clean has some precedence.
