With that, Heidi is guaranteed a full year reign as Young Lions Cup Champion. The only other person to do that was Hallowicked. And in my opinion it will go down as one of the worst and boring YLC reigns of all time. It felt like she just sat on it for most of the year and that's because she did. That's not her fault but not giving her opponents to fight every now and again is just dumb... She may be in COTI but you can work the YLC into other bookings for her
Again this is something the YLC needs to become, a Traveling Title, something that can be defended in other promotions and such. Tadasuke did it over in Japan, it needs to be done more here to make it feel more relevant, especially when CHIKARA booking gets in the way like it did this year. |
