Seattle might be ruined. The Supwe bowl loss has killed their mojob from Petey on down Kam sitting out has done a massive number on them. He's more important to that defense than people thought. I dont underestimate the loss of Kam at all. But there's just something else missing from the atmosphere of that team.

From what I've come to understand, Kam Chancellor was Seattle's locker room leader, the guy Pete Carroll deferred to if there was a problem or issues brewing between players. With Chancellor out of the picture, now Carroll has to be the one responsible for leading these players and if you go back to his days as the Patriots' head coach in the late 1990s, the one thing that Carroll struggled with the most was communicating directly with his players and keeping their trust.
He's the ultimate substitute teacher as a head coach. He'll show up and let the players handled their own business and he is only really ever called on if there's a massive problem. Now 0-2 is not a massive problem, considering there's 15 weeks of football left to be played, but I am wondering if Seattle is closing in on entering that 1998-99 Patriots era in which the players lost respect for Carroll, tuned him out, went behind his back to complain about him to the front office or ownership, and ultimately became a lesser team on the field.

Once this game is over, I feel like I'll need to take a hot shower. Rooting for the Jets just feels unseemly.

Throwing the football to a tackle? The Colts are clearly relying on deception and violating the spirit of the rule.
EDIT - 2nd and 2 in the red zone after running all over the Jets and the Colts pass to a tackle eligible receiver then try a fade to TY Hilton with Darelle Revis all over him. They deserved that missed field goal for such moronic play-calling.

Andrew Luck has way, way, WAY too much Brett Favre in him. He's extremely lucky he wasn't intercepted there but he never should have thrown the ball in the first place. You take the sack or dump it into the turf as opposed to throwing a Hail Mary off of your back foot into triple coverage.
EDIT - And there's another example. It's 3rd and 5, you're backed up around your own 10-yard-line, you have three defensive players smothering you in your grasp. Why even risk throwing the ball? There was no positive that could come from it. Just hold on, take the sack, and get off the field.

You take the sack or dump it into the turf as opposed to throwing a Hail Mary off of your back foot into triple coverage. If he's ever going to make "the leap", he has to learn to make better decisions Earlier this year, I ranked Luck as 3rd on the list of all 32 starting quarterbacks in the league and I stand by it. Over the course of a 16-game season in 2015, I'd only want Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady over Luck. But if the question is one game to win it all, then Luck drops precipitously because of his nasty propensity to make horrible mistakes at inopportune moments. I'd probably take Russell Wilson, Drew Brees, Ben Roethlisberger, and maybe even Joe Flacco over Luck to start in a win-or-go-home scenario.

It's weird seeing the Jets causing the turnovers rather than making them.

A better team with a competent quarterback would be leading by 20 at this point. Ryan Fitzpatrick is decent but he's not the kind of quarterback you can rely on to make a play.

2nd doink of the night as Folk can't make a 48-yarder. 10-0 at the half.

By playing against the Colts, Ryan Fitzpatrick is the first player to face the same team 4 years in a row while on 4 different teams.

Luck looked absolutely astonished that he made that first down.
