I just got back from Fayetteville. I got nothing. This about says it all. What's going on? Arkansas was arguably the most physical team in the country late last season. I was expecting them to tire out and beat up everyone they played win, lose, or draw.

No earthly.
I will say they're out their starting running back and top THREE WRs (the last one broke his arm tonight), but it's a dumpster fire there right now.
I was calling it an ass kicking before the TTech coach did. The defense made one stop all night.
The offensive PI call was bogus as hell, but that's not why they lost the game.

Eh, they're gonna get their heads caved in.
At this rate, they MIGHT win one more game this season.

I'm still predicting Arkansas giving LSU fits. They always seemingly do.

Arky ain't the Arky of old.
They have done a terrible job filling the voids that the McFaddens, Mallets, and even Tyler Wilsons flourished.
Honestly, the Hogs seemed better off when they were Petrino's Passers than the one-trick pony team of now.

Honestly I was skeptical about Arkansas and thought they may be over-rated. Everyone talked about their late season surge last year but one thing I thought about was who they beat. They beat an LSU team that was having a bit of an off-year, an Ole Miss Team that was injury plagued, and a Texas team that was also having an off-year. At this rate, do you think we'll have a playoff that no-one expected? After getting by Oregon, MSU hasn't shown the signs of struggle the other top tier teams seem to be going through. Would not be surprised at this point. It looks like we are in for a wacky season.

OSU's schedule is just so horrendous that I cannot imagine them not getting in the playoff. They really need to stop with the Cardale Jones bit and put Barrett in there full time.
And Texas appears to have found a QB if nothing else. At least there is some hope for them.
And I have nothing against Arkansas, but I find Bielema so thoroughly unlikable that there is some schadenfreude with his current crapping the bed.

So me ranting about Ole Miss getting credit in the polls despite their schedule... I'm turning my oven on now, because I might be eating some poultry today. It's all good dude. Thanks for being adult enough to admit it. I ate a full feast of crow about Ohio State last yr

I knew Arky has wanted Aggie blood for three consecutive beatings. But a good Razorbacks team better show up in Dallas next week, otherwise this might make 2012's thrashing look mild. BTW, ya'll remember off season 2013? When a few of us said "look at Ole Miss! They just grabbed a helluva a class, they're making a move". They have made their move

I kind of believe the Arkansas troubles are karma towards Bielema. Nothing against Arkansas who I don't dislike at all, but really every since he left Wisconsin Bielema has acted like a jackass.
As for Ohio State, I think part of their struggles are that the passing game really misses Devin Smith who seemingly caught everything thrown deep to him. I don't think Jones is better than Barrett, or even Miller. Of course, I also think they need to use Elliot a lot more.
Bama needs consistent QB play. Much like LSU has learned the last several years, you can be great at running and great on defense but you need at least competent QB play. Trust me as a Michigan fan I learned that last year.

Yeah the karma fairy has visited Coach Beliema. Meanwhile Bobby Petrino can't win in Louisville, Will Muschamp's vaunted auburn defense can't stop anyone from either FCS or FBS, The guy who hired Charlie Strong got fired first and Kliff Kingsburry may have a couple good quality wins but is no closer to a championship than the team he left. Karma droppin bombs yo

I know very many across the nation are celebrating a Bama loss in conference play. But let us not forget the lessons of the past. Bama has lost late and still gotten into the national title game. Last yr Bama lost early and still got into the playoff. The SEC needs to go full on X-Division vs Team 3D and gang up to over power the mighty tide. Mississippi looks for all the world like a contender...today. But it's week four. They have A&M, Auburn, Arky, LSU and oh by the way the egg bowl. They get thru all that with a zero in the loss colum, give them their own trophy. The SEC looks primed to kill itself this year. A&M as talented as it is does not look as impressive as Ole Miss but we'll see. Conference play tends to bring out the fight in any team or crush it utterly (Auburn 2012).
