Hey, I'm all for it. I'd love to see them put the title on Sheamus as ratings and viewership drop further. They have got to understand that ratings aren't going to be fixed with a new champion. People need to tune in and feel like they're watching something fresh, something can't-miss. RAW hasn't been that in years. I'm really amazed that Sheamus is still only a slightly better version than his "I beat John Cena in a tables match" version years ago. He's still not the asskicking "I just like to fight and be quiet" face he was during the later part of 2011. Sheamus ain't gonna cut it. Also sooner than later, Cena won't be able to cut it either considering his fans are getting older and they'll move onto other stars. Reigns looks better and better as the days go by. The sad thing is, Reigns is doomed too if his supporting cast is the same tired group of guys. Reigns can kick all kinds of ass and get the biggest pops on the card, but if they surround him with Cena, Kane, Big Show, Orton, and Sheamus, he's screwed.

What I'd do at this point in time is basically soft-reset the whole roster. Rush break-ups on all the Divas Revolution teams, get the belt onto Sheamus basically with the expressed purpose from day one that Reigns is coming after him and will for sure beat him, blow off the Kane / Rollins thing fast in a way that writes Rollins out for awhile to come back both as a face and without the stench of the past few months on him then shuffle Kane and Big Show from the main event scene to being more Mark Henry-ish infrequent appearances in the midcard, drop all the feuds like Rusev / Ziggler and Proto-Shield / Wyatts that have been running uselessly for months on end because there's no reason to watch when the same thing's going on now as was going on in June, and try and write Raw with the idea that each week at least once something worth seeing will happen that people will regret not seeing live. Start putting tons of focus on the tag titles and Intercontinental one to try and drag their value up, keep up the Cena US open title thing for a time but then have him lose it one of those then have whoever beats him do so again afterward then keep the weekly defenses up themselves, just whatever. In general, the roster just needs a massive shake-up and they need to format Raw to stop being so damn formulaic and to have a renewed sense of life and purpose in it. It's not a quick fix though so they'll probably just say, "More Ric Flair!" and be done with it. Time to replace Smackdown with NXT? Sigh, to dream. If you replaced SmackDown with NXT NXT would just stop having the level of freedom it does and become Raw 2: But Without the Stars! like SmackDown presently is.

Wow. The people who hate Rollins' title reign have Sheamus as the only alternative. No wonder ratings are sinking.

Punk should call Vince and ask for 10% of the company to come back, just to screw with him.

Let's see if this 'two Kanes are better than one' strategy works out for them. A new boom period could be just around the corner.

This company really is run by fools if its taken them this long to realize they have major problems with their product.
Even worse when you consider their roster is STACKED with talent, yet it is 2015 and KANE is your World Title program.
I was in middle school when Kane debuted.

Someone should tell Vince Ratings do not matter. I mean that's what people say in the rating threads every week.

It's called take the damn title off of Rollins already. He's already overstayed his welcome as champion and as long as the show revolves around him, it's going to keep feeling boring and inconsequential. I would GLADLY take another Cena title reign right now to at least make the title feel important again.

Instead of getting into a "panic" about low ratings, why not overhaul the tired repetitive formula of the shows and ease off on the never-ending rematches every single week.

Neither is Cena and they've stuck with him despite a decade of declining ratings. Punk was a PPV draw at least and out-performed Cena in that regard.

Or keep the title on Rollins, make him the "architect" persona again, the guy that outsmarts everyone. Give him credible opponents, even his small match with Neville was amazing. Stop giving him Kane, Big Show, Cena, Kane, Cena, Big Show. The man is a great worker and knows his character, the writers don't have a clue. Across the board. It's not Rollins that's the problem. The only reason Cena seems interesting is because they take the time to make you think Cena is interesting. If they devoted half as much time to Rollins he'd be over like gangbusters.

RAW is their main flagship show and it's become by and large skippable.
They constantly replay everything that's already happened, so there's no reason to rush into the opening hour.
It's three frickin hours long, which is longer than most blockbuster movies. I know it's because of rights fees, but the shine is quickly wearing off, and a lot of people don't have the interest any more.
Their whole show set up has been the same for approximately 20 years.
They need to reevaluate things from the ground up. Do something to make the show feel fresh. Putting the title on Cena, or rushing out another Attitude Era legend would not be a long term solution.

Rollins as champion has been a total bore, I don't care at all about his "gimmick" or "how he's pushed" because he just flat out hasn't been entertaining as champion outside of his matches. He's held it for 6 months now, it's time someone else got a run considering Rollins hasn't had anyone to feud with at all.

Put the title on someone else, and behold as they do just about nothing besides feud with Kane and John Cena.

The title will never be interesting while the evil authority figure is around. It's been done to death and needs to go now. I'm sick of chickenshit heels who need the boss to back them up, and idiot faces who agree to matches put together by the same, obviously biased, boss.

Idk when it will happen, buti f the Authority gets taken down, for good, an overhaul of the format and presentation, should follow. Still crossing my fingers that the Wyatts bring the whole thing down.

i honestly think most of the problems stem from the three hours. a three hour show every single week with absolutely no off season is exhausting. instead of doing something interesting with the third hour, they just draw out promos that don't need to be drawn out, have 10-15 minutes matches that simply do not need to be that long with matchups that we've seen several times already. not to mention the constant recaps. wrestling shows work best when they leave you wanting more, not making you glad it's over. people love nxt, but if it had 5 hours of programming every week, people would be griping too. i don't even mind the current storylines and booking, there's just simply too much of it.
