Hey, I'm all for it. I'd love to see them put the title on Sheamus as ratings and viewership drop further. They have got to understand that ratings aren't going to be fixed with a new champion. People need to tune in and feel like they're watching something fresh, something can't-miss. RAW hasn't been that in years. I'm really amazed that Sheamus is still only a slightly better version than his "I beat John Cena in a tables match" version years ago. He's still not the asskicking "I just like to fight and be quiet" face he was during the later part of 2011. Sheamus ain't gonna cut it. Also sooner than later, Cena won't be able to cut it either considering his fans are getting older and they'll move onto other stars. Reigns looks better and better as the days go by. With Reigns, I know I want him to win the belt, but it's hard to pinpoint the right time. And I think there will be a pocket of fans who will always shit on the guy, which could lead to another Cena situation, which I definitely don't want.

Someone should tell Vince Ratings do not matter. I mean that's what people say in the rating threads every week. sounds like a job for the Rock. Vince: "Goddammit the ratings are dow..." Rock *bursting through the walls like the kool-aid man* "IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT THE RATINGS ARE!" Vince: "thanks Rock, hey while you're here we have a show tonig..." Rock *holding up his hand to silence Vince* : "Finally the Rock must go back...to Hollywood!" Vince: Goddammit!

Idk when it will happen, buti f the Authority gets taken down, for good, an overhaul of the format and presentation, should follow. Still crossing my fingers that the Wyatts bring the whole thing down. The Wyatts are the hidden weapon to completely re-do modern WWE. You can literally reboot the rosters heel and face alignment via them finally bringing down the machine. They'll never do it as it isn't Cena orientated but the potential for absolute chaos to build the new order from is there.

Wrestletaint.gov is reporting that during the creative meeting this afternoon, Vince McMahon entered the meeting, said something along the lines of how it was time to wipe the slate clean and go in a newer, fresher, more creative direction. Then about ten minutes later, half of the creative staff was fired because none of the suggestions involved Cena.

That was always where I thought they were going, with the Wyatts, then they became fodder. From the earliest I've been saying the Authority should be the Covenant and the Wyatts the Flood, an even greater threat. But WWE has always sucked at company wide stories. We make movies, my ass, you make vanilla skits.

Bray Wyatt should be the Darkseid of the WWE.
Brock would be the Anti-Monitor.

Bray Wyatt should be the Darkseid of the WWE. Brock would be the Anti-Monitor. And Reigns is Superboy. He'll Superman Punch the titantron which will shatter the stability of the WWE Universe.

Cena's the Hal Jordan. Completely invincible and pushed endlessly seemingly to the detriment of the brand and his most consistent personality trait is being a douchebag.

I'm only speaking for myself but, I can't watch 3 whole hours of the same, stale, shit week after week. I just can't do it.
And even when they do try new things, they don't last long for whatever f****** reason so we go right back to the staleness. I honestly can't even remember the last time Raw actually excited me outside of the Raw after Mania. That's not good because the reasons for why I get excited about that show regard the crowd, not the product itself.
And if Vince thinks Sheamus is the answer to the ratings woes, he needs to be put on his ass immediately. I don't know what the answer is but they're having a laugh if they think a Sheamus title reign is the ticket.

Yeah right. Rollins as champion has been a total bore, I don't care at all about his "gimmick" or "how he's pushed" because he just flat out hasn't been entertaining as champion outside of his matches. He's held it for 6 months now, it's time someone else got a run considering Rollins hasn't had anyone to feud with at all. ...which has nothing to do with Rollins. Put the title on someone else, and behold as they do just about nothing besides feud with Kane and John Cena. yup, exactly

Kane and Sheamus are Rollins' main contenders to his WWE Championship, yet he's been pinned clean by the US Champ (Cena) and the former IC Title Champ (Ryback)... yeah I wonder why the ratings suck.
They should have a Roddy Piper Invitational tournament for 3 Hours next RAW with nothing but AAA matches between all of NXT's top stars. Winner gets to have a title shot against Rollins at the end of the night and/or get drafted onto RAW/Smackdown as the newest NXT call up.

I maintain that SHIELD should have stayed together, perhaps even to this very day. They were a breath of fresh air and had a believable sense of danger and unpredictability. So WWE broke them up and made Rollins into a cliched stale corporate champion. Terrible decision. Their feud with the Wyatts was white hot. Naturally the Wyatts were also broken up for absolutely no reason.
With such shitty booking choices, it's no wonder WWE is stuck in a rut.

If that story is true, then he sees a random cash in being something to jolt the show, albeit temporarily. The cash ins are usually bigger than the person cashing in. Hell, people popped when Swagger cashed it in and I can promise you it wasn't because of Swagger.

There are fundamental flaws with practically everything WWE does.
Take Kevin Owens for example. He debuts. He's a champion in his own right. Kills the living shit out of Cena. Immediately looks like a big shot. Then he faces Cena at a PPV and actually pins him clean. Wow. This guy is the real deal. Has Cena finally met his match? Could the superhero have found his arch rival??? They are going to face each other again? Oh....he lost. Oh well. It's 1-1. Let's have a decider. Holy shit, it's for the US Championship. If Owens beats the #1 guy for a title that represents the entire United States, then that will be a major big deal....and.....oh he lost....and the feud is over. Oh well. Here comes Cesaro. He's a tough guy. Owens beat him. That should mean something right, but....oh Cesaro is a jobber who loses often. I guess Owens beating him wasn't that important then. Here comes Ryback!....he's a big guy.....and reads "The Secret". Well, he can be a big guy and love Oprah's Book Club. Nothing wrong with that. Owens won the Intercontinental Championship from him! Hurray! Now he must be a serious contender for the world title because Ryback was a champion and "Intercontinental" sounds important.....oh....Ryback also often loses frequently, so why was he a champion? I see....it's a relatively meaningless title, so it's not really a big deal. Man, this Kevin Owens isn't that impressive. Oh well.
See, it all connects. If you book guys to be jobbers, and titles to be marginal, it can have a knock on effect when you're trying to get people over, and that's presuming you want to really get them over at all.

Vince's biggest problem is that he has no bigger picture. He's literally pulling ideas out of his ass on the fly. Guys get thrown into feuds with no end game in mind and no follow up when they're done...just to head into the next pointless feud.
As cliche as it is, I'm sorry, but Vince finally needs to suck it up and go for the long awaited Cena heel turn. The kids are smarter than Vince gives them credit for. They show a lot of backstage stuff for the Make-a-Wish kids where we get to see guys like Show, Barrett, HHH and Steph be super nice with the kids. They get it Vince.
It's not going to be the end of their world to do a year long storyline with Heel Cena and his Cenation supergroup run roughshod over the E. Let them stab him in the back, he licks his wounds, returns to win the Rumble and begs for the fans' forgiveness before destroying his creation. Also, kill off the authority figure crutch during that time. Do something fresh.

Bring back some jobber matches. No need not to have at least 2 or so on Raw. Makes Mid Card guys look better, and it makes it so that the same match is not done to death.

To be fair the Make-A-Wish Kids are only pretending to be excited to see Barrett they don't want him to give them bad news,Show only see's Make A Wish kids the day of the week he is face and those Make A Wish Kids have bought into WWE propaganda and don't realize HHH is not a superhero who singlehandily destroyed WCW with a tank. And those Kids are just grateful that Stephanie started the Diva's Revolution because they all believe it will result into Eva Marie starting a boom period.
