I watched Vader vs Stinger at superbrawl 3 on the network yesterday. I enjoyed it and want to see more Vader matches. Any other good Vader matches? I know he had some gooduns versus Foley and Stinger. I'm really interested in the brutal matches where you see him damn near legitimately beat the shit out of people in the corner with those punches he did. But also just good matches.
Thanks

Vader vs. Flair from StarrCade '93 was maybe his best match in America.

his stiffest match is probably the infamous one vs Stan Hansen where Vader's eye gets knocked out of it's socket
anyway VADER TIME: vs. Cactus Jack - Texas Deathmatch Halloween Havoc 1993 a few matches vs. Kobashi from 1999 (you'll probably find these on youtube) vs. Sting - Starrcade 92 & Great American Bash 92 vs. Jun Akiyama - some AJPW show from 2000 vs. Flair - Starrcade 93 vs. Inoki - 1996 in the Tokyo Dome vs. Hansen - 1990, the jacked up eye socket match vs. Takada - from some UWF-I event in 1994 vs. Misawa - Giant Baba Memorial Show 1999 vs. HBK - Summerslam 1996 (he should have won the title here)
the most brutal ones are generally the Japanese ones, have fun

Just watched Vader and Stan Hansen beat the tar out of each other. Very cool. I like matches like that. Probably why Lesnar/Reigns is my current MOTY. Matches that can almost pass for real fights.

vs Hogan at Superbrawl V is underated. I think it's among either man's best matches.

Against Undertaker at Canadian Stampede. Didn't win, but was a really fun brawl.

ANY Sting vs. Vader match (besides Superbrawl 3 there's Bash '92 / Starrcade '92 / Fall Brawl '94)
Vader vs. Boss Man / Guardian Angel (Spring Stampede '94 / Halloween Havoc '94)

Those two could really beat the shit out of each other. Boss Man in general is really an underrated worker. He may not have had the Meltzer workrate stuff, but he had great psychology and could really work a crowd.

Sting vs. Vader from Slamboree 1994 is a forgotten gem. Nobody talks about Slamboree 1994 because it's the last "non-Hogan" WCW PPV, but top to bottom it's a very good show, and Sting vs. Vader caps it off.

Vader/Duggan and Vader/Hogan in a cage are both extremely underrated.

Anyway, there is no such thing as a bad Sting vs. Vader match. Watch them all OP.

I'm usually someone who thinks of Vader as more or less overrated by the IWC. Then when I was scrolling through this thread I agreed that I liked all of the matches (that I've seen) listed. This thread has turned me around on Vader until I forget again.

Another one... Vader vs. Dustin Rhodes (Clash from Nov. '94)
Honestly, I feel like I can say watch any Vader from '92 to '94.
I remember vs. Nikita Koloff at Havoc '92 being stiff too. (Heck, it ended Koloff's career) I think you'd dig it OP.

While I'm thinking about it, did Vader and Barry Windham ever hook up? Because I feel like that match could have been aces.

An underrated gem of a match that you should definitely give a watch is Vader against Shamrock at an In Your House Show from May in '97.
It gets overlooked way too often, but it seriously rocks and is one of my favourite matches from that year. It was Shamrocks first match so he wasn't very polished as a wrestler yet, but if you want to see two serious tough guys beating the crap out of each other, this is the match for you.

I don't remember which Vader/Guardian Angel match it was that I saw, but I remember hating it because Boss Man wasn't selling shit.
Also, I can't endorse any Vader/Hogan matches. Vader was my favorite wrestler in WCW as a kid, and seeing Hogan no-sell the Powerbomb made me so angry.

I thought Hogan made him look great in that match.
