Is the Jay Lethal "Lethal Injection" set worth the pickup? Because I'm thinking of getting it and the Homicide compilation. Absolutely. You mean the earlier one that's only $6.99 right? The interview is on the second one, this one is just matches. But the matches are fantastic. The first disc solely focuses on his first run, including the entire arch of Samoa Joe taking him under his wing through the heel turn, as well as Hydro and his Pure Title reign. The second disc focuses on his return to ROH from his first match back through his 2012 title shot against Davey Richards. While this whole era of ROH smells funny, isolated to just the ins-and-outs of Jay Lethal at his hungriest is pretty great and I really enjoyed it. So year, scoop it and the Homicide set. I'd also suggest at least taking a look at the match list on the Delirious set as you get the bouts along with Delirious in character "Shooting" about each endeavor between the matches.

Oh, I got the Delirious set, as well as a Jimmy Jacobs one and a Christopher Daniels set, the last time ROH came through Atlanta. Homicide was the last of my "all-time ROH favorite" sets I was missing.

Couple of notes from PWInsider:
Frankie Kazarian has signed an exclusive deal with ROH
There are rumors in the company about them introducing a new title soon. (I'd guess a Women of Honor title)
ROH head Joe Koff will be on JR's podcast next week.

To anyone who has been to Global Wars / WOTW: Is it possible to meet / take photos / buy merch from NJPW guys, or I should say anyone from ROH either?

I went to Field of Honor last year and Okada, Nakamura and Goto had tables set up and were signing. I assumed that you had to pay for everything including pictures (plus the lines were insane, especially Nakamura) so I didn't approach to confirm. I imagine a lot of them, the big ones anyway, will have tables set up.

Would be worth it if I truly never thought I'd get a chance to go to Japan.

I've been to three ROH-New Japan co-events, and each time they had NJPW autograph sections mixed with the ROH guys for meetings/photos/autographs. Merch might be a different story. At War of the Worlds 2014 and Field of Honor 2015 in New York they had separate ROH/New Japan merch tables, but at the 14th Anniversary last month they had it all on the one main merch tables. Might depend on the venue you're going to, I'd say hit the ROH merch table first and then if you don't see any New Japan items, seek them out. Either way, merch moves exceptionally fast at the ROH/New Japan shows, even by ROH standards, so if merch is an important part of the experience for you, try to get there as close to doors as possible.

Although I'd like to get some merch, the meet and greet is more the focus for me. Hate to keep pestering, but any recollection roughly how much photos / autographs cost?

It really varies on the venue. Where are you seeing them at? The average I've seen is around $20 for a photo and autograph (including them supplying the 8X10), $30 for tag teams, but that might be New York specific pricing because of the venue (Terminal 5 is known for taking a cut of merch for music acts leading to increased prices, not sure if they would do it for ROH but I'd imagine they might). Sometimes they have special deals where you can get a photo and autograph with every wrassler for $125-$150.

Guys! I read the write up for G.O.D. appearing and it listed the other NJPW stars that were previously announced and Gedo wasn't on it.... I really hope this is a typographical error. Also, I know this is a lot of NJPW talent and it's selfish to ask for more but Shibata and Omega would clinch this list for me.

I'll just assume $20 a pop and bring some extra jic. Thanks for the heads up.

Scottish wrestler Joe Hendry is suggesting on his Twitter account (@joeshendry) that he's going to be debuting for ROH soon.
Then he tweeted he was having a tryout. We'll see if he eventually shows up...

Main event of the Global Wars PPV has been set! Colt Cabana will challenge Jay Lethal for the ROH World Championship!

"Cabana has challenged for the championship before, including a shot in Chicago in 2009 which included a stipulation where he could never challenge for the ROH World Championship in his hometown again. As part of the negotiations with Cabana to return to ROH for a series of dates Colt wanted to be able to compete for the ROH World Championship in Chicago, which Nigel has granted him and the stipulation has been overturned."
I love ROH's attention to detail!

Gedo was announced on Saturday, I wouldn't see why they'd remove him for no reason since then. And Shibata and Omega are difficult because they're working on work visa issues. That's the reason Omega was replaced by KUSHIDA at the Philly show last month - it's believed he's working w/o a work visa.

I'm actually looking forward to Colt vs Lethal. They've done a good job of building it, for my tastes anyways, and the match itself is guaranteed to be good. All I can really ask for.
