Nick and Matt Jackson, The Young Bucks, are teasing on social media that they are "signed and sealed" and after being the top independent wrestling act for the last year plus, that they have settled down with one company.

WWE sources are claiming the company has not come to terms with a deal for the tag team, which leaves TNA, Ring of Honor and Lucha Underground.

Of those three, Ring of Honor seems the most likely and that is where I would place my bets, but we will see.

There is an ancient Greek word Kairos that means “opportune moment”. For Adam Page and B.J. Whitmer, their Kairos could be staring them in the face come Friday November 13, 2015 at Turner Hall in Milwaukee, WI!

Page has made a steady climb through the ranks of ROH for the greater part of three years. Even detractors of B.J. Whitmer would admit Page’s growth has accelerated since Whitmer took Page under his wing. Now Page enters a triple threat match in Milwaukee where his two opponents will have their minds set on resolving a deeply personal issue, putting Page in a situation where he may just have to swoop in like a vulture and pick the bones of both fallen men in order to advance to the Survival of the Fittest Finals the following night in Hopkins, MN!
But it likely won’t be that easy for the upstart from Virginia. Since joining Ring of Honor, the “Party Peacock” Dalton Castle has shown that he is both the sizzle and the steak. Through the glitter, elaborate ring gear, and his proclivity for a lavish lifestyle, Castle has quickly become one of the most popular and successful stars Ring of Honor has seen in some time. While it is true Castle and “The Last Real Man” Silas Young are embroiled in a feud driven by Young’s insistence on turning Castle’s “Boys into men”, Castle has proved he is still capable of winning despite the constant distraction Young’s behavior has become.

As for “The Last Real Man”, the normally-hated grappler may receive a hero’s welcome in his hometown of Milwaukee. In addition to the psychological edge of having The Boys in his corner, Young may have a home field advantage, adding extra-motivation to dispatch Castle once and for all and to defeat Page, a competitor Young last saw in the first round of the 2013 Top Prospect Tournament.

All three competitors in this triple threat have made their case for title shots throughout 2015 and have the win-loss records to prove it. Will this be Adam Page’s moment? Does Dalton Castle have enough focus to cut out the mental distress of losing The Boys and emerge victorious? RODERICK STRONG VS. CEDRIC ALEXANDER

“Mr. ROH” Roderick Strong has done it all in Ring of Honor, including holding all three championships that comprise ROH’s Triple Crown. Strong also has the distinction of competing in all but one Survival of the Fittest competitions and emerging victorious in the 2005 edition where he dispatched former and future ROH champions Samoa Joe, Jay Lethal, and Austin Aries to earn a future ROH World Title shot.

Roddy is riding a wave of momentum, after capturing the ROH World Television Championship in a match that will air in the coming weeks on ROH TV.

Strong continues his yearly tradition of competing in Survival of the Fittest in Milwaukee where he will stand across the squared circle from Cedric Alexander. While the fans vocally disapprove of his allegiance with the intellectual but devious Veda Scott, the results speak for themselves. After seeking professional guidance from Scott, Alexander became the first man to defeat Moose not once but twice, even if both victorious were by less than scrupulous means.

Nevertheless, this is a bout put together by ROH Matchmaker Nigel McGuinness with an expressed goal of pitting the present versus the future for a spot in the SOTF Finals in Hopkins, MN. The two have already engaged in classic encounters before, with Alexander getting the best of Strong in their two most recent encounters at Best in the World 2014 and Global Wars 2014. But while Alexander has gained even more experience and the mischievous Scott in his corner, Strong is in the best shape of his career, re-establishing himself as a top ROH championship contender in bouts where he took Jay Lethal to the limit!

Will the difference in this clash of stars hitting their stride be Scott on the outside? Has she trained Alexander to counter Strong’s End of Days and Sick Kick, moves he has captured ROH gold with? And is Alexander confident enough in his arsenal of high-impact moves like the Lumbar Check or the Kick to Kill to fight a fair match or will the temptation be too great to continue his cheating ways? Thought the show was decent this week. Kingdom/Big reDragons was fun, Djijak/Moose was a great "holy shit they did what" match, and want to see more of Dalton missing The Boys. Absolutely hated Roddy getting a TV title match because..., that is some WWE level stuff and knowing what we know about that match, I completely hate that shit more.

MORE ON WHY THE YOUNG BUCKS SIGNED WITH RING OF HONOR

The signing of Nick and Matt Jackson, the extremely popular tag team known as The Young Bucks by Ring of Honor, officially announced yesterday, led to excitement among some circles of fans, disappointment among those who hoped the Bucks might be signing with WWE for the NXT brand and trepidation by those who were upset about the prospect of losing the Bucks on the independent scene, where they are the most popular act on that level.

According to a number of sources PWInsider has spoken with, the last group of fans should actually be thrilled with both The Bucks and ROH, as the together, they have crafted a deal that allows the team to, well, buck the system. Yes, I went there.

PWInsider.com sources indicate that on top of being able to continue with New Japan Pro Wrestling, The Bucks negotiated a deal that will allow them to continue to do international dates in Europe when they are not needed for ROH or NJPW commitments.

The Bucks also negotiated that they would be able to continue on with their longtime home promotion, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla in California and appear on PWG DVD releases. We were told this was important to the Bucks especially as they feel that PWG allowed them to build their brand name and they wanted to continue on there, because they enjoy working there so much.

Finally, the duo were able to get ROH to allow them to maintain their ProWrestlingTees.com store, an outlet that has allowed the Bucks to build an additional revenue stream for themselves beyond independent bookings with an endless stream of new Buck shirt designs.

We are told the Bucks are locked into a deal similar to the one Adam Cole, The Briscoes and others have, where they would get paid a regular fee from ROH and could even potentially do additional indy dates as long as they are approved by the ROH office. The deal would see them also being paid if they were injured and out of action for any length of time.

So, when you add all that up vs. what the Bucks would have to give up for a potential TNA or WWE deal of the same level, they and ROH really came together to come up with a pretty unique agreement that allows the best of both worlds for each side.

I'm not a fan of the Bucks at all, but respect to them for staying loyal to PWG, where they broke out.

He took the Undisputed Champion to a sixty minute time limit draw and then said Undisputed Champion had to use every dirty trick in the book to beat him in the rematch. I don't see how anyone could really be more deserving.

He took the Undisputed Champion to a sixty minute time limit draw and then said Undisputed Champion had to use every dirty trick in the book to beat him in the rematch. I don't see how anyone could really be more deserving.

He did nothing to earn another one and if he gets one because of Truth's actions, why isn't Kyle getting a shot? Or any of the others screwed over by the HOT during Lethal's TV run? Eh, I'm fine with it, 'cause I HATE "dual champ" storylines. The World Champion doesn't need the secondary belt to look good. He's already the World Champ. Frankly, he should have been made to vacate it when he won the world title.

Different perspectives I suppose. To me taking the Champ to the limit should be rewarded, not treated as a loss. Also the point of a draw in pro wrestling is to set up a second match because in theory nothing was settled and we still don't know who the better man is. If they'd decided to dp this storyline with O'Reilly I'd have been perfectly okay with that too, same with Fish. But I do think Roddy's got more of a claim than either of those two because they all have the same problem of being screwed by Lethal/HOT/Kingdom but Roddy also has the advantage of previously taking the Champ to a draw during his run as dual champ. I think it's logical booking personally. And I say that as someone who was disappointed to see Roddy win the belt. And not because I dislike Roddy but merely because I think Lethal made that TV Title so important it deserved a highly climactic end to his reign whereas this felt like a sort of out of nowhere change with little fanfare. That was disappointing. I think it was done because it is so difficult to book a dual champion. It's the type of storyline where, when executed perfectly, it is great but it is far too easy to screw up. I feel Delirious took the easy way out and just had him drop it as soon as the intitial shine of interest in a dual champion had worn away. But I won't criticise too harshly because I think Roddy will be a great Champ and I think Delirious has worked his magic enough over the last eighteen months that I totally trust him to do the right thing, even when I don't initially agree with the decision (see: ending to ASE).

SIX MAN SHOWDOWN
HOUSE OF TRUTH (JAY LETHAL, DONOVAN DIJAK & JOEY DADDIEGO) W/ TRUTH MARTINI VS. BULLET CLUB (AJ STYLES & YOUNG BUCKS)

Manager of champions Truth Martini has wrestling pundits around the world buzzing: is he the world’s dumbest manager or the world’s smartest? While detractors have questioned Martini’s decision of signing ROH World and Television champion Jay Lethal to any sort of high profile match prior to his ROH World Title defense against former IWGP Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles, Martini may be playing chess while the rest of the world is playing checkers.

Martini, the only manager ever to manage two ROH stars to the World Title, may have a method to his madness when he sends the House of Truth against the Bullet Club in Milwaukee, WI. The tag team combination of Donovan Dijak and J. Diesel will certainly have a size and strength advantage against all three Bullet Club members and have been developing a chemistry that may allow them to cut off the ring. With the HoT doing the heavy lifting, World Champion Lethal will have opportunities for up close and in person scouting, as well as perhaps some cheap shots on ROH World Title #1 contender AJ Styles.

But don’t expect the Bullet Club to just roll over. While the 6’7” Dijak’s height and former Golden Gloves winner Diesel’s iron chin certainly present obstacles for any Styles Clash or Superkick Party, Styles and the Young Bucks have dispatched of bigger and stronger opponents across the globe with technical prowess, speed, and execution. And while the House of Truth has been developing tag team continuity, The Bullet Club outpaces the HoT in both experience and time together, racking up wins in six-man competition in Ring of Honor this summer against top competition such as The Kingdom and CHAOS.

The outcome of the match will come back to Martini: if ROH World and Television Champion Jay Lethal leaves unscathed with a better idea of his number one challenger’s skills, putting the House of Truth in this match was a win but in the very real possibility that Lethal falls victim to the Styles Clash or the Meltzer Driver, Martini may have started his charge down the path of losing the ROH World Championship to his toughest challenger to date.

I look at it this way; yeah, he lost his shot at the world title, so he should be at the back of the line. But a combination of the circumstances surrounding his loss and the fact the world champion also held their secondary title meant that it was reasonable to allow him another match with Lethal for that secondary belt as a compromise.
