That's right, it's Wednesday again. So grab a Pepsi Perfect and put the hoverboard away, because it's time to get to the WWE Network for the newest episode of NXT. Presented as always from the Full Sail Arena, this could be one of the more unique episodes we've seen in a while.
The big story tonight will be the NXT debut of former TNA World, Tag Team AND Beer Drinking Champion, James Storm (while somehow still participating in a tournament for the aforementioned top prize of TNA). With greener pastures underfoot, will we see a re-energised Cowboy show the world that there's still fight left in him? Find out as he takes on Danny Burch in singles competition.
That bout somewhat overshadows tonight's main event, which will see the EXPLOSION~! of Dusty Classic runners-up Baron Corbin and Rhyno. Corbin proved last week in the #1 Contender Battle Royal that he still remains a Lone Wolf regardless of any partnership he may have formed with Rhyno, throwing him over the top rope and eliminating him. Now, Rhyno seeks revenge in this rematch from Takeover V: Unstoppable.
In tag team action, it's more bad blood from the battle royal as the cult heroes of Full Sail, Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady take on the rising roughneck duo of Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder. The antics of Enzo and Big Cass are the exact kind of thing that a pair of no-nonsense brawlers like Dawson and Wilder are looking to stamp out on their way to tag team gold. Can they take another step on that journey tonight?
And in women's competition, a pair of singles bouts as new Japanese sensation Asuka makes her first competitive appearance on the weekly TV circuit against Billie Kay, and Alexa Bliss looks to stake a further claim on Bayley's NXT Women's Championship in a singles bout against Peyton Royce.
