Cowboys would be better off putting McFadden at QB and running the Wishbone at this point. He was pretty good at the Wildcat, probably wouldn't be worse that that sad sack attempt at quarterbacking. Seriously? You think Cassel isn't productive? Oh wait, that was 97 yards for the whole game? I thought that was the stats for the quarter. Hell, I saw Luck get damned near that many yards in one drive this season and he has played like shit this season!

- Four Super Bowl championships
- Three-time AP Coach of the Year winner
- Six conference championships
- A .710 winning percentage in the playoffs
- A career .670 winning percentage
- 12 division championships in 15 seasons
Forget all of that, Bill Belichick's greatest accomplishment ever might have been winning 11 games with Matt Cassel under center in 2008.

If this early offense is indicative of Kubiak and Manning getting on the same page finally....I look forward to the 29th.

The way they're celebrating Peyton Manning, I expect Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth to be wearing cowboy hats and orange barrels when they cut up to the box.

IDK got it muted and watching/listening to walking dead. Makes for a much better experience. Even though this episode kinda blows.
Are they going on and on about the "oh Peyton's washed up, oh he can't throw the deep ball" sarcastic narrative?

Are they going on and on about the "oh Peyton's washed up, oh he can't throw the deep ball" sarcastic narrative? Basically. Manning completes a six-yard pass to Owen Daniels on the flat and Collinsworth is like, "Huh, I thought guys who were washed up weren't supposed to complete those passes!" And it's after just about every single pass. I'm sure if they showed him, he probably would've given the camera a Halpert Stare immediately after saying it.

Bomani Jones has been all over this for weeks. It's like pulling teeth to get certain media members and announcers to admit that Manning's arm is going. He's my favorite professional athlete of all time and I'm sitting here getting annoyed that it's weirdly taboo to point out the obvious, apparently. Manning has been great tonight. This is also the first time this season he's managed to look like this.

Good grief. A sniper could have shot Burton and he still would have dropped Rodgers. What on earth was he supposed to do? Not rush him?

This is also the first time this season he's managed to look like this. The best part is that they act like if they acknowledge that his arm strength is limited then they are damning him to hell. Even Bill Simmons was making that point. It's like...guys, you can still kinda praise him for doing some of the things he is doing while mentioning that he doesn't have what he used to have. Just say it.

That was an iffy one on the roughing the passer. I know I know you can't breathe on QBs with MVPs and all nowadays, but damn.....

This is also the first time this season he's managed to look like this. It really feels like they're employing the Kubler-Ross model when discussing Peyton Manning. Denial - You're out of your mind! Peyton Manning is fine, it's just a series of bad games! Anger - This can't happen to Peyton Manning! He's one of the greatest of all-time! Bargaining - Maybe if Manning and Gary Kubiak can get on the same page with the play-calling, everything will be back to normal! We've yet to come anywhere near "depression" or "acceptance". I honestly think Manning would have to finish the season with close to 20 interceptions before most members of the media would acknowledge that something's amiss.

This follows about 12 previous games where he played like ass. Not sure why Collinsworth is so vigorously wagging his finger at everyone

Crap....what am I gonna have on at 10:30 when this show is over.....
Now that pass to Sanders is something for them to talk about. He hasn't made that throw all year. When he's tried one of the 3 in the area get a hand on it.
