Part-Time WWE Divas: Why Not?

So we have guys like Rock, Sting, Undertaker, Lesnar and so on as part-time WWE guys who can be slotted into upper tier programs.

So how come we don't have part-time WWE divas? We can at least shake up the division and have WWE Diva Legends into the ranks once in a while.

We know Trish and Lita can always come back whenever they want, but who wouldn't want Mickie James, Victoria, Maryse, Michelle McCool and Molly Holly just to name a few on a part-time basis.

If they males can get part-time contracts, there is no reason the females can't.

Because they don't care enough for the division to splash the cash on 'big' names, many of whom are actually worse in the ring than the current crop and seemed better than they were because those around them were so dreadful. The only big name the division is likely to get is Ronda Rousey and the full time divas will be fed to Stephanie to build up to her match with them.

Nope.

Main roster should be the focus.

No Rock, no Rousey, no Mayweather. All these questions are going to be answered exactly the same by the majority for the same reasons, so why bother asking?

This might be a good idea for nxt but on the main roster women are interchangeable plus once you reach 30 time is ticking unless you bang the right person.

Apples and oranges. For one, the Divas get, on average, about twenty minutes total on RAW. Add to that, they only have one title. It's not like with the men where, while Lesnar was off the schedule, the Intercontinental Champion and the United States Champion and even the Money in the Bank winner took over as the top guy in his absence. Hell, they got enough girls lost in the shuffle off of the Divas Revolution, and everyone involved with that is full time.

In other words, WWE needs to utilize the talent it has before they go tapping any reserves. That goes for the women and the men.

The only way some part-time Divas would work is for NXT one-off dream matches like Jushin Liger's at Takeover. There's so little minutes on the main roster that adding part-time Divas to WWE would just squeeze out the current crop of Divas, and it wouldn't help as much for the dream match quotient unless there were firmly over women enough to merit a dream match there.

On NXT, they give the women enough time and character development that a dream match could work, so if they had something like, say, "Bayley vs. Molly Holly for the NXT Women's Title at Takeover"- it might work well.
