Whats wrong w/ ADR using the cross arm breaker?

As one of the few who doesn't mind him........Its not like anyone is using it and its Alberto's friggin move. I don't really care for this double stomp move of his.

For me, it's because he's a heel who uses a submission move, and WWE faces are too heroic to submit. See Cena, Undertaker, Lesnar, Reigns, etc.

What makes the double stomp weirder was they already established that the (backcracker) head kick is strong. He came back and beat Cena with it. Cross arm breaker can be used as a tease just like Cena's STF is now usually.

I think they either don't want him tapping out babyfaces any more, or they think his armbreaker is part of what made him boring.

To be honest, all his finishers suck. His armbar looks weak, Rollins kneeling Super Kick is miles better than ADR's and this Low Ki Super Stomp is just awkward.

My theory is they think the only reason people found him boring is the, "Keeps the armbar on to show his aggression," cliche and think so long as he has a new finisher (even a really terrible one like that stupid stomp) people will come around.

I don't get the new obsession with the double stomp.

Alberto's sucks, Finn's sucks. Cesaro's is decent, but he uses it as a normal move and not a finisher.

They saving the move for Rousey is she ever decides to come back to WWE. The only logical reason why Del Rio stopped using the armbar. Can't be due to apathy because the crowd normally reacts to the armbar getting hooked in.

Exactly. In WWE, top babyfaces don't tap out. Therefore, the Cross Arm-breaker is a really lame finish for a heel.

It's not the move itself, it's the environment it's being used in.

He's as boring and stale now as he was on the day he left. He's even managed to recreate that silent atmosphere when he wrestles. Fair play to him!
