They saving the move for Rousey is she ever decides to come back to WWE. The only logical reason why Del Rio stopped using the armbar. Can't be due to apathy because the crowd normally reacts to the armbar getting hooked in. Even beyond the ADR jokes, the Rousey part makes more sense at least for this week. If Rousey's friendly with WWE and they want to ignore the big loss as much as possible to keep her that way, it just makes sense to not have ADR use the armbar and bring up any comparisons.

I want to know why they gave him Finm Balor's finisher. And why is it cool when Balor does it, but lame when Del Rio does it? Finn gets height, and looks like he's stomping THROUGH you when he lands. Del Rio just looks like he's doing the "Flying nothing" that usually gets countered into a boot in the face

I love how the curbstomp, which while it looks brutal, it can be taken safely, is banned, but a double stomp to the face, which has all types of potential to go wrong, is not.
Still beats the AGRESSIVE armbar, though.

I think they either don't want him tapping out babyfaces any more, or they think his armbreaker is part of what made him boring. The funny thing is, I'm almost 90 percent sure it's the bolded. Which just goes to show how out of touch WWE is; it's not the armbreaker that made Bertie boring, it's everything leading up to it, particularly the booking.

Del Rio's set up is too convoluted since he has to get them in the tree of woe and have them sit up for no reason so he can stomp them. Balor's is weird looking move too since obviously he can't follow through or he'd actually kill them. At least he jumps high. I also don't see how it's any less dangerous than the curb stomp in terms of kids copying it or whatever the reason for banning it was.

Can't let Berto use it when Asuka's reversing slaps to the face into it!

Not for nothing, Low-Ki at times made the stomp look painful as hell. Low-Ki's an exception though. The Ghetto Stomp is just ridiculous. How he manages to not blow out his knees while doing it just amazes me.

Not for nothing, Low-Ki at times made the stomp look painful as hell. That could be attributed to Low Ki's stiff style. That or Ki is a dick Can't spell "dick" without "K" "I".

It was banned because of the concussion lawsuits they're dealing with, idea basically being, "This would obviously concuss the hell out of someone if actually done, better pretend it never existed."

The stomp off the ropes is a terrible move. Had Kalisto simply let go of the ropes, he'd have been fine.

Maybe they're trying to let submission finishers be primarily a Diva thing now? There are a LOT of them all of a sudden. Vince: I just had a great idea...
