I love being able to unlock characters it is something alot of games sadly do not do anymore what with DLC an all but I love the challenge of really wanting something in a game and setting the goal to get that special weapon or character etc
But the HO was easily the most worthless unlock for as long as it took to earn all that money , even the giant cheese you could use as a weapon was a much more worthwhile unlock.

Which game was this from? Also, while not a wrestling game, does anybody remember how the old UFC games for Xbox had you unlock those Tapout guys like Mask or Skyscrape? Not to mention Ice-T (And this was before he was in Def Jam Fight For NY) and the ring girls (To this day, I still wonder who the girls were in the select screen in UFC Tapout for Xbox). I read that one of the later UFC games had all three Tapout guys.

I figured the Ho was just kind of a showoff thing, sorta like Rock's expensive shirt you could get for much more than most of the clothing items. Instead of the Ho, it'd have been kind of neat if the final unlock was another Create a Wrestler slot or something that had some unique clothing or something.

Which game was this from? it's from SVR 2009, during the "Better Than Utopia" storyline, MVP/Umaga/Regal attack John Cena's friend Tony.

I guess that is the better way of looking at it. HO was simply about completionizim....still worthless though lol. I was hoping when you got the HO that with it being so questioably expensive that it ment there had to be another tier of unlocks. Unlock the ho and get the chance to unlock a couple new arenas or something.

Did anyone ever beat the game with the Ho? That's probably good for a free blowjob coupon or something.

Well I can honestly say I enjoyed unlocking the mean street posse in smack down 2 and have had a blast dominating the game with Joey Abs.

You know what was cool? Remember Smackdown 2 how when you had essentially gotten everything it would just create it's own wrestlers and inject them into your career mode?
They weren't then selectable or anything. It was just kinda funny when it happened.
OMG! It looks like........ "Ironface" Danny Bardango...... is here. Wow. Who could've seen this coming?
Then you squash them and they are never seen or heard from again.
Also, one time I saw X-Pac sneak attack X-Pac.
I think the game might get sleep deprivation if you play it for 8 million hours or something.

How hard would you pop for Unknown A turning up on Raw and debuting hard like Steen did with their goofy gear and facial hair configuration?

Remember the slew of unlockable characters that WCW Nitro had? I could understand some other wrestlers, and wrestling personalities like Kimberly, Elizabeth, Gene Okerlund, etc. But what about the characters like Santa Claws, Annie Mae, Whitey The Snowman, T-Rex, etc.? Those did not make sense.

A part of me wishes they would do something like that again, but the complications from it could be that people would be annoyed that things wouldn't be available for CAW parts, and there's always a chance the code could screw you out of parts if it's done randomly.

Unknown A The funny thing is that those Unknown guys had the movesets of guys from another companies, you could end up having Essa Rios vs a guy who wrestles like Misawa that has Hollywood Hogan's mustache, Goldberg's tribal tattoo, and sunglasses... in a TLC match.

I can't be the only one who got annoyed by that though. It would happen almost every month after the first year of story mode and due to the load times of the game would take about 15-20 minutes to finish that one week, and that's if you didn't get unlucky and got the Ironman match as the stipulation.

Not only did you unlock wrestlers, but you had to use unlocked wrestlers to unlock other wrestlers. You could unlock moves, CAW attires, arenas and championships. I imported this game when it came out. Before IceMaster or MysteriousKagura's guides came out, it was a free for all. I'll never forget turning the game on one random time and seeing a shadow wrestler doing the Jackhammer and then realising every move from WCW/nWo Revenge was now unlocked. Thought it was the coolest f***ing thing ever.

Also Jake Roberts in one of the Smackdown Vs. Raws where you need the PSP version to unlock him. I hated that, such a terrible idea.
