Pop isn't paying TNA anything, but they are sharing ad revenue.

This is going to not end well, the next two weeks will be the recap shows which always draw badly and on Christmas week as well, and then the debut is going head to head with the Presidential Address.

The debut avoids the State of the Union, the State of the Union is on the 12th. So it will be going against TNA's 2nd new episode on Pop.

With the subject line saying "We've got pop!", remember when TNN had a similar slogan after they changed from The Nashville Network to The National Network? It's ironic because that later became Spike, which is TNA's former home.

I was kind of disappointed they had normal commercials and not sleazy lawyers and colored fire log ones I think those are exclusive to Paragon Pro Wrestling. They still have them on their new channel I watch them on, plus Voodoo Donuts.

With the less than impressive debut ratings on there, place your bets on how long before POP decides to pop TNA's bubble.

Eh, for one, under the circumstances it's really not fair to judge them until the live show in a couple of weeks. Two, given the arrangement they seem to have, it really comes down more to how long TNA can continue to pay them than anything because Pop has no reason to actually care what kind of ratings it brings in.

Much like with DA this time last year, TNA has talked POP into thinking that somehow, they are gonna get the ratings for them that got on Spike. The guy who owns it talked about how excited he was for TNA and believing they could get them over a million viewers. And given that they are getting barely a tenth of what that was now, and going up against AOS, Agent Carter, NCIS: New Orleans and other big shows on Tuesday Night, it's only gonna be a matter of time before Dixie sends The President of POP an email calling him a dummy.

In the case of the former, how much better you think it'll get? Bear in mind TNA lost 100K viewers from its lead-in, a Days of Our Lives repeat.

So with my cable system, I can look 6 days into the future to see what shows are on, and when I see the listing for Impact on POP, I click on the info button and it reads: "Hosted by Mike Tenay and Don West".
Uhhhh, way to pay attention to the announcers who've actually been on TV in the last 6 months, guys.

Slightly unrelated, but on my program guide, every episode of ROH that's on my Sinclair affiliate lists the original airing date from 2009. I have to manually restore the event on my DVR because I don't want it recorded more than once a week from the "Reruns" option.

Opposite problem I have, where my DVR can't distinguish the same episode airing on ABC and Fox so it records each one twice.
