Who's it going to be? This superstar gets to work fresh match-ups and basically gets to do something new and away from main WWE TV.
Is it going to be Sheamus? Orton? Del Rio? Ziggler? Bryan?
There are many guys who are stale, who do you send down there to freshen up?

I think Jack Swagger would probably benefit the most. A 6-8 month run in the upper midcard and main event would certainly rehab him.

Sheamus considering he has a unique look, he can go in the ring and he's the most stale. He also debuted in what, 09? He still seems like untapped with his new gimmick. He's always nice in the ring so just give him some new guys to play off of and he'll be fine. Orton is too stale but needless to say he'd benefit with the NXT schedule, Ziggler and Bryan don't need NXT.
So yeah, Sheamus definitely. He's legit too. He can give guys some credit.

Yea right. Those guys may be stale or non existent right now but they all still have presence and NXT wouldn't be needed for them. Since some one had Swagger already i'll go with Heath Slater. Very underrated worker and has the confidence and talking ability. He could have a rejuvenation the same way Kidd did when he went down to NXT to polish himself.

I dunno who I'd pick to send down there because it would be taking time and attention from guys who deserve the spotlight because they're learning.
For instance, if you were to send Swagger, really the only spot I see for him is a wrestling machine heel run near the top of the card. With Joe and Corbin already as the top heels in NXT, there isn't a lot of space at the moment.

Curtis Axel, probably Damien Sandow. I don't want any of the established vets, and anyone the last couple years would seem like they didn't have enough time.
Curtis can take his angry 'why isn't anyone giving me a chance' persona to NXT, maybe even challenge in the upper card to boost his credibility, while I'd like DS to try his more real self, as seen in the UpUpDownDown shows...knowwhatI'msayin'?
Side note: I wouldn't do it so close to his return as the anticipation would be ruined, but man, I'd love for Seth to just show up unannounced on NXT for a promo just for the crowd to tear the roof off for him.

If Del Rio vanished off the cards tomorrow, and someone else assumed the U.S. Title, would anyone notice?

Main eventer? John Cena. Him 'invading' would be money money money.
Mid Carder to get a new character and push ala Tyson Kidd? Ziggler.

He was "on NXT" the same way that half the main roster was on NXT in the early Full Sail days pre-Network. That said, while Axel should have more TV time so that they can actually fill out the ranks, he's not someone I'm dying to see pushed. But he and Intellectual Savior Sandow could easily be a heel alliance for some tag feuds.

If he counts, I'd officially move Chris Jericho to NXT as a touring draw/their major part-timer. He's only working house shows anyway, when they have the big special house shows he usually tends to wrestle recent callups in big dream matches anyway...just make it official and let Jericho just show up randomly on NXT and put on good matches with their top talent.
If Jericho doesn't count? Randy Orton would absolutely be perfect for the role: Just big enough a draw so he could be "THE STAR" of NXT, just 'old guard' enough so that the NXT faithful would instantly make him Public Enemy #1 on NXT programming- but just talented enough so he'd probably be having star-making performances left and right with everyone on the NXT roster.

Miz would be entertaining, he'd have a "this is so easy, this is so beneath me" attitude that would get massive heat from FS desperate for him to get destroyed by the indie darlings.
It would get him back to his heel trolling of 5-6 years ago which was grand, somehow he's lost it along the way.

Yeah, not a guy but if it weren't for the fact that the women's division doesn't completely need it, I'd say Becky Lynch would be a great candidate.
