Granted they had some crazy ideas at times but they did have their pulse on "throwing the wrestling rulebook out the window". It really can't get much worse than it is.. WWE needs a shot in the arm and going against the grain will help that. And obviously those two go against the traditional "Wrasslin formula"
Obviously Heyman would be the best choice but he can't deal with the Mcmahons in a creative capacity. WWE's main problem today is 1985 formulaic booking (minus the emphasis on the mid card of course) and we are in 2015.

As a guy who wants womens wrestling to grow, hell as a guy who wants wrestling to be better in general, these two are the last people I want anywhere near WWE.

No, it's painfully obvious that Russo still thinks what worked in 1997 will work now... but it's been almost 20 years the world moved on and we are no longer X-TREAM!

I really think the people who call for Russo to return/work for any company missed out on WCW, never heard about the time in 2002 where he was literally laughed out of a WWE return and think our talk of TNA Impact is some apt. wrestling thing. I mean we have 2 successful WWE years compared to 15 years of failure so bad it can only be described as "Russo" since there is no level low enough to place it, yet there are still calls for this dumb as hell racists motherf***er to get a job. |

There are some principles you could probably apply that would be fine (mostly related to a meaningful focus on the entire card), but there are many more that a fresh booking vision can completely do without. If you're female or not from an English-speaking nation, you're shit out of luck... That goes from misused potential to straight out sexism and racism. Also, any internal storyline logic would be purely coincidental.
