I like Sheamus, but only straight up bully Sheamus, and his career has only been about 20% that.

Im just sick of having a heel champion We are in Era that people does not accept face champions. Whenever they try to make one, everyone is booing him ... CM punk got a lot of cheers same as daniel bryan also brock if he counts and apart from reigns they haven't made a new baby face champion in like 5 years. the only baby faces getting boos are cena and reigns

I like him too, but he's certainly not in the right spot right now.
It's not on him, but booking has made him look like ass for a couple of years now; a briefcase cash-in doesn't make all that go away.

Let's say everything the OP said is true about Sheamus. Given all that to me equates to the guy being barely a US level guy, not any sort of multi time world champion, Rumble winner, KOTR winner, and MITB winner. Sheamus has just won too much stuff for a guy that is no great shakes and has never been especially over.

If they are going to have him as champion, then they should make him a monster heel (a bit like Mark Henry during his reign) instead of booking him like Seth Rollins and making him the new bitch of the Authority
They should have ended his first night on Raw as champion with him (and Barrett/Rusev) standing tall after beating down Roman Reigns, but that didn't happen. Sheamus and co were made to look weak by getting chased away by one man.
I do not want another cowardly heel World Champion. Make him a badass and I would enjoy his reign a lot more

I like Sheamus.
He just sums WWE up at the moment, though. Like, instead of doing something fresh and interesting and getting eyeballs on the product again, they're going with something that's been tried and failed before.
It was also obvious from a million miles away that whoever won the tournament at SS would get cashed in on. When I saw the results, I just thought, 'Really? No surprises? No effort to stun or shock anyone whatsoever?'
Let me just add - I'm not watching the product at the moment, at all. I like to hang here and read up on what's going on in the hope that one day WWE will get their heads out of their butts and change things so I can enjoy it again.

Maybe it's just me but I think virtually all of his matches in this heel run have been stinkers. I don't know what it is that makes his matches not work but something about this thing he's doing now does not work.
He's had a couple of good matches with Orton and Ziggler but outside of that? Pure mediocre, middle of the road heel stuff. Except now this guy is supposed to be the top heel and compete in main event level matches. Yikes.

Sheamus is basically Triple H without the advantage of being able to ride the coattails of some of the most popular names to ever step foot in a wrestling ring.

I dig him too. He's got a great look (I don't think he looks stupid), pretty good on the mic when he's not being Cenaized, and he and Reigns will be capable of some crazy fights.
I'm 100% behind our WWE Champion, fella!

Sheamus is good. Having a skill level "barely better than the US title" is soooo subjective. So many less talented people have done more than Sheamus.

I like Sheamus, I don't main-event like Sheamus.

Honestly I think he was never tagged as an office favorite, we would be talking non stop on how underrated he is and how he deserves a push

Since this is the top post in the WWE section right now, I saw "Sheamus" and "Released" in the title from the main menu. Got a little excited for a second.

Imo Sheamus' problem has never been that he was an "office favorite", 18 seconds, or being booked as "Cena lite". The problem is that for someone they supposedly like and want to push, Sheamus does a whole lot of Jack shit.

Bryan and Punk weren't booed when they were babyface champions. It's not that we don't want babyface champions, it's just we don't want the champions WWE wants.

Punk, Bryan, Rock, Alberto up until the Swagger feud, even Sheamus once eighteen seconds blew over got cheered a lot more often than he got booed (though typically the reaction was more just apathy), Orton in 2010... Not a lot of examples there, but that's just because we've barely gotten face champions in recent years. Not counting Reigns having the belt for a good three minutes or so, we haven't had a face champion in like eighteen months. Plus if you were to put the title on Ambrose or Ziggler on Monday the place would go f***ing insane.
