I was randomly looking up Bad News Barrett clips and seeing an episode brought back a bunch of memories for what was probably WWE's most ridiculous project.
It started as a typical, but entertaining, talk show, then evolved from that to end up as the source of some of the ridiculous improv I've seen WWE superstars do probably ever.
JBL and Cole's stupid wood statues JBL vs. Cole in bobsledding The Superstar Search Damien Sandow; Singer Daniel Bryan vs. Bear The entire Cody/JBL feud Clem Layfield Aksana: Continuity Police Bad News Barrett Barrett and Cody's Bromance New Day being awesome before they were more awesome The Musical Hulk Hogan's One Man Suburban Commando reconstruction Stone Cold being summoned by physical breaking glass The time Cole got beaten up by Santino Marella, Dolph Ziggler, Road Dogg and Josh Matthews John Cone: Office Ref Cesaro: WWE's Statler and Waldorf
Too many more to list but basically Goddamn I miss this dumb show. There were duds but there was effort in the duds and it felt like everyone was genuinely having a ball.
Also, we never got JBL vs. Bear damnit! GIVE ME JBL VS. BEAR!

The show got way too dumb and random towards the end in my opinion. Once Cody became Stardust and Barrett got hurt in the same week, the show was just never the same

Once Cody became Stardust and Barrett got hurt in the same week, the show was just never the same I'll admit that the loss of Cody and Barrett hurt the show so damn much. But I don't know, I like when it feels like everyone involved in a project genuinely enjoys it which is why I loved the more silly and random aspects.

You just reminded me how much I loved that little "8 Bit" Square Wave jingle they'd use for the John Cone segments...

Yeah, I miss the Clem Layfield segments and Zack and Dolph's dumb antics.
Meh, anything that lets me see Heath and Zack on the regular is good and missed when it's gone.

Can you imagine the glory of current episodes guest starring the New Day?

Did it actually have a finale, or was it dropped out of nowhere?

To be fair the show was going downhill towards the end. Aside from Office Ref, which was fun, you had a Louie parody with Dolph, I think, which was... meh at best. Plus Bad News, Clem, and Cody kind of vanished or drastically cut back appearance-wise and the people left couldn't really carry the show without them.

Did it actually have a finale, or was it dropped out of nowhere? It was setting up JBL vs. Bear since Bryan/Bear never happened since Bryan got injured. And then it was dropped out of nowhere.
