I might have to rethink the Cutie Remark a bit come rewatch time...
One of the recurring reviewers, Fox, made an interesting analogy comparing Starlight's childhood event to Apple Bloom's fear of not getting her cutie mark at the same time as her friends in "Bloom And Gloom" and also to Moondancer's emotional outburst in "Amending Fences".
