I really hope the new season comes sooner rather than later. Kind of in the mood for the show over the past couple of days but without the show around there isn't much to really talk about or do relating to it.

Later than I had planned, but let's start roundtable talks. And I'll start with one of the major things from the second half of Season 5:  The Crusaders Getting Their MarksTimed perfectly with being the 5 year anniversary of the show, in an episode that only barely hinted at this possibility, they finally did it. Apple Bloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle achieved what they had been working for since the first season. So the discussion here: opinions on the marks themselves, and how do you think now that they've found their talent, their new role in life will play out in Season 6? |

while helping others understand their cutie marks is a group thing, I would hope we would also see their blossoming individual talents (Sweetie Belle as a singer, Scootaloo as an athlete and AppleBloom getting more responsibilities on the farm).
Not trying to break them up, but we know they're a great team. Let's see some more individual stuff too

This was one of the happiest moments of Season 5 as it really felt like we saw them being rewarded after a 5 year long journey.
Especially considering I had the fear that they would end the series without them ever getting their cutie mark.
I like their design in that they have a common connection in the three-colored shield but still having an individual marking that is connected to the talents they showed in "Show Stoppers".
Discord is just clowning around...

We've been waiting for them for so long, so it was relieving to finally see those 3 get their cutie marks. My favorite part was that they didn't get them for what was "hinted" all the way back in season 1 with Show Stoppers, and going with the theory that blank flanks really do have limitless potential.
Shame that it had to be at the end of what I thought was a crap episode, but that's not the topic.
I hope we see more of the CMC utilizing their talents in future episodes.
