Dash's ear. You know. Kid's show. That also seems to be a prosthetic wing given it's only on the one side. Anypony want some... {Spoiler}{Spoiler}cupcakes?

Can't punch Tirek in the face, but apparently you can stomp the shit out of Sombra's army

The different timelines was rather interesting.
I am curious what the plan for Starlight is.
And how she got her mark.

I gave it 8 as well. Lots of interesting alternate universes, but going the reform route with someone who literally tried to erase your history? Like where do we draw the line?
Maybe Season 6 will make it work but for now, to paraphrase one of our great intellectuals, "You may have the sympathy of the people, but you don't have my sympathy at all".

It will probably take a while to come up with the pros and cons for this one...but I am going with a 7/10 for the whole finale.
I had some major problems with some of the plot and logic in this one, so it is IMHO the weakest of all five season finales so far.
Leave the finale writing to Meghan and Larson, Josh.

Starlight Glimmer:" It's all the cutie mark's fault for not writing letters to my friend or training hard to apply myself for Celestia's school so I could meet him again...

...
...wait."

Loses marks for Lack of Shimmer
So my ramblings on will continue into Season 6.

Starlight Glimmer is now on the worthless list.

Kinda would have preferred to focus on one timeline and how it affected the mane cast (incl. Twilight) with what their futures would have looked like without them getting their original cutie marks.
Because the whole "one small change in the past dictates which villain would have conquered Equestria"...

Sunset Shimmer is better than them both

And good Celestia, Twilight can sometimes be a bit slow on the uptake when it comes to changes, can't she?
At least she realized it this time unlike "The Return Of Harmony".

I guess that's why Twilight Sparkle is the princess of friendship, because I know in her stead I would've just executed her as her selfish actions could've caused the deaths of countless ponies if Twilight wasn't able to fix it.
It was a good two-parter, but the ending felt bizarre and a little anti-climactic. I think they could've handled Starlight's face-turn a lot better.
Ending bumped it down to an 8 for me.

Hey, if a conquering villainess of space can be redeemed and become a hero (admittedly after her brother kills his mentor) Starlight being redeemed is fine. *Sits back to see who picks up the reference first.

Will Starlight Glimmer then replace one of the Elements of Harmony after one sacrificed herself trying to save Ponyville and passes on her Element power to her as a spirit?
