Since I wasn't here for it...
The Finale gets a 8/10 from me. It was awesome seeing the various alternate continuities, but I think that it had two primary, negative consequences.
-It made Celestia look... just incompetent.
-It made Equestria completely dependent on the Elements of Harmony and the Mane Six.
Plus... I don't know how I feel about Starlight being redeemed. Like, at all. She either becomes the Equestria version of Sunset, or she replaces Twilight next season, and Purple Smart best horse.
Still, the various alternate timelines were awesome, especially the War vs the Crystal Empire one. So... yeah.
