Chrysalis' future reminds me alot of Sonic SatAM. You are now picturing Chrysalis with Jim Cummings' Robotnik voice.

Chrysalis' future reminds me alot of Sonic SatAM. You are now picturing Chrysalis with Jim Cummings' Robotnik voice. Somehow....it works. Also, giant Tirek destroying everything? Bring in these guys. And I'm not just saying that because I just bought the Complete Series of Zyuranger on DVD.... {Spoiler}OR AM I?

Ok my list is complete Before I get to it, let's get the negative bullshit out the way first and post My Top 5 Least Favourite episodes of Season 5. 5. Party Pooped For what it's worth, this wasn't even a terrible episode, it was just an ok one.. The whole joke about Yaks destroying things got old really quickly, and for most part was pretty forgettable, It also seems like Pinkie Pie is challenging Twilight Sparkle for the most stressed out Mane Sixer title.. Not god awful, but far from one of my faves of Season 5. 4. Appeloosa's most wanted Once again, I didn't think this episode was flat out awful, however it was proof that the whole "Search for our cutie mark" angle was really starting to get a little tiresome now, It was good to see Braeburn get a big roll again and Troubleshoes was a decent enough character, Applejack was a little annoying however with her overly mothering behavior, so yeah.. One of Season 5's more forgettable episodes. 3. Bloom and Gloom Just like Apleoosa's most wanted.. This was an episode that just made me go "For f***s sake just get your godamn Cutie Marks already". I guess they needed to complete the whole Princess Luna visits the CMC in their dreams and what not, but this one just got annoying and once again ended with no cutie marks.. Weak episode for most part. 2. Princess Spike *Sigh* Look, I really don't want to hate you Spike, but you really don't make it easy, why is it when you get your own episode you are booked to look like a complete Idiot?, The usual going mad with power whilst Twilight sleeps whilst f***ing up things left to right, You don't exactly need to be Nostradamus to predict where this one is going. Overall not a very good episode at all, Only positives were Cadence and Fancy Pants showing up.. But they are not enough to save this episode. 1. What about Discord? What an absolute mess of an episode.. It's almost like you want us to hate all the characters. I don't mind Discords face turn yet remaining mischievous but you booked him like a complete twat this episode, Twilight Sparkle was also booked to look like an idiot this episode, why do you care so much that your friends occasionally do things without you?, You know it's bad when Spike was one of the more likeable characters in an episode, and don't even get me started on that ending. I don't say this often about an episode but.... f*** this episode. Has Neal Dusedau actually watched the show before?, seriously If I were incharge I would say go study the characters before you write another episode, Please Neal, prove me wrong, write a really good episode for Season 6, It doesn't even need to be amazing, just decent.. Write 2 good episodes and you will be forgiven, but till then, The first episode I see that has been written by you I will be dreading. Please prove me wrong, I welcome to be shown you can write a decent episode. --------- So yeah that's the negatives, the positives coming up

Someone on Derpibooru had a unique view on how the 7 timelines we saw in this episode could have come to pass. Would like to see the opinions of you guys to see if they fit:
Timeline 1: Nightmare Moon returns, Celestia manages to defeat her. Discord is never released from his stone prison. Shining Armor and Cadance are able to repel the Changeling invasion by themselves, like they did in the alternate timeline. Sombra returns, but with Cadance to weak to fight him, and without Luna or the Mane 6 to help Celestia has no choice but to declare an full scale war on the Crystal Empire. With Equestria’s resources and magic exhausted, Tirek never gains enough power to break free of Tartarus.
Timeline 2: Celestia defeats Nightmare Moon, Discord is never released. Chrysalis succeeds in her invasion of Canterlot, and with the strength her hordes gain from devouring Equestria’s magic, easily repels both Sombra and Tirek’s invasions.
Timeline 3: Nightmare Moon defeats Celestia. Discord is never released. Nightmare Moon uses her power to repel all further invasion attempts.
Timeline 4: All previous villain attacks happen as they would have before. Tirek takes advantage of the confusion to steal the magic from Nightmare Moon, Discord, Chrysalis, and Sombra, and sets about destroying all of Equestria.
Timeline 5: Celestia somehow manages to change Nightmare Moon back to Luna on her own. Discord breaks free of his prison, and transforms the entirety of Equestria into his own chaos kingdom. All other villains after Discord no longer bother attacking, as Equestria as it once was no longer exists.
Timeline 6: Celestia somehow manages to repel all invading enemies by herself, but at a heavy cost to Equestria’s resources. Flim and Flam win the farm from the Apple family in their bet, with no legal way of preventing them from bulldozing it into an industrial park and expanding further from there.
Timeline 7: The darkest timeline. All attempts at attack and invasion are successful. The various villains fight amongst themselves for control of Equestria until the entire world is left as a barren, lifeless wasteland. Nothing and nopony is left alive.

Just a quickie, I deliberately leave out the 2 parter Opener and Finales off my list as I don't consider them regular episodes and think it's a bit unfair to compare them to the normal eps. So they are staying off. With that said let us begin. Straight in at Number 10. Scare MasterSome will say "Oh look another episode where Fluttershy conquers a fear".. Nah I don't see it that way, Maybe a little but wasn't really the main focus, So the Shyster grows a pair of balls and venture out on Nightmare night, and even tries to take part in it, I quite enjoyed a lot of the gags and some decent cameos (Horse mask, Ranma 1/2, Derpy dressed as Twilight) and I was perfectly cool with the "I can do it, I just don't want to" message at the end. Ofcourse this ep got leaked 6 weeks in advance, stupid idiot, but I still enjoyed it 6 weeks later. Top notch ep that sneaks into the back end of my Top 10.

At Number 9 we have "Dun Dun Dunnn" Tanks for the MemoriesI use to dread Rainbow Dash episodes after Season 2 as most of the time she would act like a complete knob, In some respects she still does but thankfully it does seem to have been toned down a little, With that said she seems to forget that Animals do need sleep and some need to hibernate for the winter, Rainbow Dash however decides to try and stop winter and basically try and kill tank, despite this I did enjoy most of this episode and Rainbow Dash f***ing things up, The crying scene was also great with the exception of Twilight ofcourse having to be the all high and mighty one (But nevermind let's not go there). So yeah Good episode that sneaks into Number 9 on my List.

the 8th wonder of the season. HearthbreakersLiked this one a lot, It was good to see the show hadn't forgotten Pinkie Pie had 2 other Sisters, Limestone the aggressive one and Marble who makes Fluttershy look... Not shy. I'm not big on the idea of Pinkie and Applejack being related but it was good to see the 2 Families meet and see hoe different their lifestyles are, All around great episode (Unless you're a Cheerimac shipper )

Lucky Number 7 goes to. Canterlot BoutiqueA great way to return after the Mid Season break, the beginning of the Rarity trilogy, this episode brought us some memorable new Unicorn side characters (Dude Brah being the underappreciated ones ), and Saddle Shores who I don't think was a bitch at all, she just made some piss poor decisions and meant well for most part just got ahead of herself, but yes, wasn't overly sure at the first watch but it grew on me big time. and it gave us this face Great stuff all around. Even with that creepy thing at the end.

My bottom five goes as such (also may be different than my initial ratings as this is now how I feel about each episode as it stands) #5. The Lost Treasure of Griffonstone Gilda is a lot like Trixie to me. She's a character I honestly don't care too much about. Mainly because her initial debut wasn't the most shining of ones. While I'm at least happy they redeemed her character, it still doesn't do much to make me become a fan of hers. The episode, like most of the map episodes honestly, fell flat in several places, and the most interesting parts of the episode came in the backstory. #4. Made in Manehattan I love Rarity. I love Applejack. And while she doesn't make my top 10, I really do like Coco Pommel. But honestly, this episode is one of the show's flattest episodes to come back to. Save for the Charlie Brown parody and Applejack's hat being mutilated, the rest of it is just so forgettable. If the concept felt a lot more unique, I'd have enjoyed it more honestly. #3. Appleloosa's Most Wanted Dave Polsky is one of my favorite writers, and his contributions to season 4 were some of my favorite episodes in the series as a whole. But this episode just felt boring. The concept on paper sounded great. A mysterious outlaw that the CMC have to stop. But what you get is a clunky story that muddies a lot of what the show had made proper about cutie marks. Also, after "Somepony to Watch Over Me" to have Applejack go right back to ignoring what Apple Bloom has to say just feels like a case of horrible writing. It's one I don't come back to. #2. What About Discord? Neal Dusdeau's second outing continues his run of bad episodes for the show as he writes Twilight as petty and jealous, Discord as nothing more than a reference heavy annoyance, and let's you stew around for 22 minutes of idiot ball and horribly out of character concepts. At this point I think the show should consider saving De Lancie's cameos for episodes with more important stakes to the concept than "what's so funny about peanut butter hooves?" #1. Princess Spike The series debut of Neal Dusdeau and the episode that answered what we already knew. When Spike is used as comic relief/sidekick, he's at his strongest, and can be one of the show's best characters. When writers give him the ball to be the protagonist, it often leads to some of the worst episodes of the show. Granted, episodes like Equestria Games and Inspiration Manifestation put Spike in a stronger light when given the go to lead. However when an episode is nothing more than just Spike playing up his ego due to his association with Twilight, it shows him at his ugliest side, and shows why he isn't a particularly strong star. Simply put, "Twilight Time" did the concept of perks by association of royalty much better. Hopefully he has a much stronger outing in the starring spot next season. Honorable Mentions: Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep?, Bloom and Gloom

and the top episode of the bottom half at 6 goes to... Brotherhoove SocialI admit I was a little skeptical about this episode after seeing the preview pic of Big mac dressed as a woman, I was hoping for maybe Twi/Armor vs Jack/Mac, maybe even Thunderlane and Rumble, but was like "Gonna be that kind of episode huh?" when I saw that, Thankfully I was proven wrong. I'm pleased to see the show try and develop the relationship of Applebloom and Big Mac, We have seen a lot of Applejack and Applebloom and even Applejack and Big Macintosh, but never really Big Macintosh and Applebloom, Sometimes it's easy to forget these 2 are Brother and Sister (Closest we came was Hearts and Hooves but even then..Not really), I must give Peter New credit for his role as Orchid Blossom, I bet that was stupid fun playing that role, Applebloom was pretty bratish in this episode and you gotta feel bad for Big Mac who really was trying. I'm also glad that they didn't go down the route of people actually believing Big Mac was actually a woman (Except that old guy but we can overlook it), and that end scene with Bloom and Mac, Yes I admit that is the closest I have ever come to shedding liquid pride at an MLP episode.. Really enjoyed this episode and was guaranteed a Place in my Top 10

On to my best episodes of season 5 #10. The Hooffields and McColts Leave a cartoon like MLP to cover one of the bloodiest family feuds in history. While this episode was far from the strongest in humor, I did like the conflict, the rather rough designs of both families, and especially the unique pairing of Fluttershy and Twilight. It also wrote Fluttershy in the way an assertive Fluttershy was meant to be written.

#9. The One Where Pinkie Pie Knows Pinkie Pie is my least favorite of the mane six. Although this season has warmed me back up to her. And in an episode where the plot is about the chatty pony having to keep quiet about Cadance and Shining Armor's pregnancy period, it delivers on a lot of great little moments and jokes throughout the episode. Favorite of which being the final scene with Pinkie literally exploding after succeeding in keeping the secret. Plus Shining Armor's geeking out over his guest room is adorable and hilarious.

and now we move into the Top 5 and at Number 5 is.... Rarity InvestigatesIt took 5 and a half seasons but we finally got a proper Rarity/Rainbow Dash episode and it did not disappoint , Once again I must give full credit to Tabitha St Germain for her role as Detective Rarity which once again seemed like good fun to do, all in all was great fun Rarity and Dash played off each other really well, Good to see the Wonderbolts, My only minor criticism of this episode would be how obvious the bad guy in the end was, but in my Opinion the best of the Rarity trilogy.

#8. Canterlot Boutique Rarity is my favorite pony. Shocker, I know. And coming back to the latter half of season 5 with all three of her focused episodes was quite a treat. As was this great start. While new character Sassy Saddles started off as a character I disliked, I did tolerate her by the end. I also do like the story being about sacrificing your artistic vision in the name of fame and success. I also love "The Rules of Rarity" song.
