I kept watching after the nipple ring incident. Me too. But I saw this episode already, I can't rewatch the "cringyness" of Noomph/Aaliyah's entrance and interview. So bad.

Jack The Ripper is only over because of anglophilia. He's the serial killer version of wrestling fans' being puro apologists.

Another great show.
The opener was perfect. It went the right amount of time, it showed us what Asuka can (and can't) do in long matches, and it ended on the highest of high notes. Man, I'm still tripping off that finish.
The tag match...amazing heat. As a match? Went a bit too long. I mean, it was fine but Enzo and Cass still have a lot of growing to do in the ring.
Crews vs. Apollo was another ok match. Not horrible but nothing I really need to see again.
Bayley/Jax and Balor/Joe were both pretty awesome. Bayley is a super worker. I can't describe it any other way.

That was easily Balor's best match in WWE. I loved seeing him have to brawl and get mean. And big props to Joe as well, that was an excellent performance.

Ok, missing about 20 pages since I checked in, so I don't know if this has been said yet.
Tonight Finn was actually a demon, he was more aggressive, he moved his body differently, it was more than a cosmetic change this time, very impressive.
On the train home, can't wait to watch this again with commentary and close up shots.

I REALLY loved the Ripper Balor. Gonna have to make one on my own when the Mattel figure comes out!

Having thought about it... If one is offended by the idea of using criminal imagery for entertainment purposes, then that's fine. Unfortunately, given how embedded these kind of criminal "hero worship" things are all over the world in general, popular and even NATIONAL culture (The United States has the outlaw cowboys of the old Wild West, the UK has Jack The Ripper and, as I mentioned earlier, Australia has the bushranger Ned Kelly) over the course of hundreds of years, I think it's not much of a hill worth dying on in terms of trying to change things otherwise.

I like to think The Undertaker taught Bayley the guillotine choke. I imagine Bayley greeted him with a hug at the beginning of their training session and then immediately felt an eerie chill all over after hugging the dead man.

Never getting floor seats again if I go to Wembley.
Couldnt see a thing and the titantron was turned off. Spotted some empty seats behind the hard cam so moved up there for last 2 matches and had a shit hot view.
A bit annoyed theyd sell tickets with such a shit view at the top price tier really

I kept watching after the nipple ring incident. Me too. But I saw this episode already, I can't rewatch the "cringyness" of Noomph/Aaliyah's entrance and interview. So bad. "I'm from Toronto! It's in Canada, you know!" is the worst introductory line I've ever heard, and I did the "veteran sitting there watching rookies hit the wall" deal too here in Montreal, for years. I heard doozies. But stating your birthplace and then stating the obvious about it without a hint as to why this is a reason for a reaction? Never. Especially, it's TORONTO. What would be the incentive of an American fan to boo you because you are from Toronto. You're not a foreigner per se, US ain't at war with Canada, it's not like "My name is Steven William Regal, and I'm from England, and I'm here to teach you about manners." which is how Regal introduced himself in his second run. That worked because he was snotty and he had a better-than-you attitude, and he pretty much told the audience they were unrefined hicks. That works. Plus, if you're gonna be a belly-dancer, learn to belly-dance and bust some cool moves, she barely swung her hips. If I booked NXT, here's what I'd do with Noomph. 1) Learn to belly-dance. 2) You're no longer from Toronto, It's In Canada; you're now from Luxor, Egypt and you're the Pearl Of The Valley Of Queens. You have the grace of Cleopatra, and you can make men and the Nile river do your bidding. Your finisher is now the Venomous Asp, pick a hold and call it that. And your name is no longer Aaliyah, that sounds like the theme of Muhammad Hassan, and it's sure as hell not Noomph because that sounds like a sneeze. Your name is.... NEVERTITTIES! GET THAT FIXED TOO! (or I guess, Aaliyah works too.)

Was that a Hell's Gate attempt? It looked more like an armbar variation to me. Looked like hells gate live, a few people tried to start an "undertaker" chant

Disappointing results, though.

A bit annoyed theyd sell tickets with such a shit view at the top price tier really My only gripe. I can't understand why you would have it off for the matches, only to show immediate replays afterwards. I struggled to enjoy parts of matches when they went to the canvas and that's a shame. Watching live, I didn't feel there was any classic matches but everything was good and the crowd was hot throughout (except for the Bull Dempsey match, but I can forgive that.) I'm really looking forward to watching the show again to compare. Should've put the belt on Joe though.

Just watched it on the network, I noticed the camera cut to black for a bit before the finish of Asuka vs Emma. Was there a wardrobe malfunction or something, or just poor camera/direction work?
