Team Fourstar are doing their second installment of DBCember where this time they're counting down the 24 Dragonball specials (not including the GT special so hah and I assume that Evolution also falls out of the 24) and there are somehow three specials worse than Bio Broly.
24. Episode of Bardock. Such a dumb, lazy cash in
23. Plan to Eradicate the Super Saiyans. It's not heinous but it's pretty much fanfiction with no substance and Hatchiyak is a boring musclehead although they note that they reused Raichi's backstory for Baby.
22. Broly: Second Coming. They reckon it's even worse than Bio Broly since it's a retread of a movie that they hated with a lead villain that they hate, really boring and the fights are horribly paced.
21. Bio Broly. They enjoyed it more than Second Coming due to Hercule & Android 18 and that it was actually decent until Broly shows up because there is some good character stuff going on.
20. Dragonball: Sleeping Princess in Devil's Castle. It has some funny moments but the production values aren't great, it's very dreary to look at and it's not very fun to sit through.

I didn't even know a movie about Goku and Krillin fighting vampires existed and I'm a big fan of the original Dragonball.

There's 24 Dragonball specials? Some of these I've never even heard of.

Number 19 is The Return of Cooler. Not a new episode... I'm sad now. DBCember finished with a new episode last year, I assume it's going to be the same case this year.

Number 18 is Super Android 13. They like the designs of the androids themselves but they're really dull and the American dub had to resort to inserting dialogue where there clearly wasn't any to begin with and that the movie itself is really boring despite some cool moments.

17 is the first Broly movie. They think that Broly embodies all of the negative traits associated with Dragon Ball like a massive focus on power levels, muscles & violence and the movie itself drags until you get up to the final fight scene. Also that Broly comes across as this gary stu villain that you would come up with as a 13 year old.
They do think that the fight is suitably brutal and that it's well animated mind you.

I remember the hype train being massive for Broly back in the day. Imagine my surprise that the root of his evil was because Goku made him cry?

Yeah, the first Broly one isn't great, but I still find it better than ones that are obviously going to be higher in Bojack and the Dead Zone (just hate Garlic Jr. period)

Number 16 is Curse of the Blood Rubies. They generally enjoyed it but the fact that it's a retelling of Dragonball knocked it down, the splicing in of some Red Ribbon stuff is a bit clumsy and it spends 25 minutes introducing stuff and characters.

Broly may not be great, but at least he wasn't stupid enough to give his opponents access to the one and only thing that could be used to defeat him. Janemba was always my favorite movie villain.

Tree of Might is number 15. They hate Icarus passionately but they like the spin on the invasion of the saiyans, Turles is actually pretty memorable, the score is great and the fight scenes are pretty good. Their only issues is that it throws a lot of potential away on having the tertiary Z fighters getting murked off screen and that so much of the damn movie revolves around Icarus.

Gonna disagree.....this is another one that I liked the first Broly one over. Icarus is also annoying and I find Turles unimaginative as he is basically Goku with different clothes and the only time I have ever liked a character that is just the same character in look except the clothes is NegaDuck.

14 & 13 are Lord Slug and Cooler's Revenge. While they deduct points from both for pretty much being recreations of prior stories, the fight scenes are pretty cool, the animation is great (they really like the false Super Saiyan in Lord Slug and Goku's transformation in Cooler's Revenge) and the Japanese voice actor for Cooler really lends a sense of regality to him.

12 is Mystical Adventure. As usual, it suffers thanks to just being a retelling of a Dragonball Arc but it's pretty much pure, undistilled dragon ball for Kaiser in that it's literally the type of stuff that it's all about. It also kind of goes off the rails towards the end thanks to incorporating both Korin's tower and Penguin Village in it.

11 is Yo! Son Goku and friends return. The big thing that they like about it is that it feels like something Toriyama himself would write. The comedy is on point, the fight is well animated and the characters are not only in character but also done justice to.

10 is Path to Power. Kaiser kinda pouts about the changes but it's possibly the most loyal adaption of Dragon Ball and it's easily the best animated Dragon Ball property, like seriously it's beautfiully animated.
