He was tall and he sucked. Believe he threatened Monty Brown on debut. Might have used the F5 as well. Didn't last a month I think. Went to WWE/OVW where he was tall and sucked.

It's....Magnus?
Oh, it's just another thing where TNA keeps reusing Dave Oliver sound effects.

Was that the Ultimate Warrior paint design they were using for him in his DixieTron?

Yep, he threatened Monty Brown and used the f5 (called the T3) He also did some body swap thing in his first match where the lights went off and Trytan was on teh ramp and Brown was beating up some jobber instead.

Yeah, Trytan was hyped up and he had his debut match with Monty Brown. Monty was going to beat him, but then the lights went out and a masked man replaced him and was beaten by Monty instead as Trytan walked to the back. The match was terrible as Trytan was green as grass and because of this whole cluster, the push was halted. He was then brought back to TNA as a tag team partner of Simon Diamond for one match. He then left TNA and went to WWE, where he sucked in OVW as the masked Waylen Mercy wannabe known as Jacob Duncan. He was then unmasked, won the OVW title, and feuded with Dan Rodman in a love triangle with Beth Phoenix. He was eventually released by WWE.

So basically his "godlike" powers didn't afford him any wrestling skills or a personality?

It's....Magnus? Oh, it's just another thing where TNA keeps reusing Dave Oliver sound effects. I always associated that sound effect with Douglas Williams. It seems weird seeing it attached to one of the poster children for TNA's lesser years. Kind of like Kurt Angle's theme being The Patriot's old theme.

I remember this guy was meant to be such a big deal that they were actually advertising him during PPV's as a big deal. Never saw him wrestle though.

There's also the fact that the bus getting blown away was later used in Team 3D's DixieTron.

Let's not forget, this guy was also a member of the Red Shirt Security team, Johnny Fairplay's non-televised bodyguard, and the masked man was Mideon.

The same Trytan I saw working for my local indie as a Goldberg knockoff? Probably not.

Trytan holds victories over Cody Rhodes, D'Lo Brown, Funaki, Giant Silva, Luke Gallows, Raven, The Boogeyman, The Sandman AND Val Venis. He has also wrestled one tour of Japan. had 2 different runs in TNA, has wrestled for WWE (And won matches) and is a former OVW Heavyweight Champion joining the likes of Batista, CM Punk and John Cena,
Considering how little he's actually done in the wrestling business (On a national level) his achievements are actually quite impressive.

He got a bit better in OVW as Jacob Duncan, but he wasn't ready for tv when TNA decided to push him. Not everybody has to be a technical wizard but if you see his match with Monty, even power moves he struggled with (like a gorilla press)
