Parts of "Naqoyqatsi" were filmed inside of Michigan Central Station, so it didn't surprise me that the building in those photographs looked oddly familiar. It wouldn't surprise me if real-life Detroit landmarks were used as inspiration for TLOU.
It's really sad a building like this is in such disrepair:
Sadly, Buffalo demolished an old Frank Lloyd Wright art deco building around 30 years ago, which is pretty sad in and of itself.

Sadly, Buffalo demolished an old Frank Lloyd Wright art deco building around 30 years ago, which is pretty sad in and of itself. Thankfully, we have the Historical Preservation Society around these days to make that a less common occurrence. Buffalo's such an architecturally unique city that it needs to be looked out for as much as possible.
