I went to a WWECW house show and helped Sandman park his car in the lot.

Justin Credible's winning streak where he was getting hit with chairs, thrown through tables, and other extreme things and winning by Disqualification, almost as if he had figured out that the regular ECW crew couldn't resist and he was going to use that to his advantage...and then that just stopped. It was weird, I figured he'd at least get a TV match against Big Show for the ECW title out of it.
Balls Mahoney loves Kelly Kelly and even bought her a bear. Sadly, Miz apparently owned all three members of the Extreme Expose so we got a modified Savage/Steele feud.
New Talent Initiative flops Braden Walker, James Curtis, Ryan Braddock, and Gavin Spears.
Colin Delaney's destruction that led to Tommy Dreamer mentoring him which somehow led to Delaney betraying Tommy to help Mark Henry which, in turn, led to Henry mocking Delaney for being dumb enough to do that and Dreamer beating Delaney senseless in an Extreme Rules match essentially 'running him out of the company.'
Big Daddy V crushing jobbers, Boogeymen, and having a weird title match against champion CM Punk where commentary kept pushing forward the idea that Punk might hit him with the GTS.
The Monster Mash battle royal.
Zack Ryder's fantasy being shown on screen.
...I could probably spend a long time on this, but I don't want to. I also I remember making Music Video recaps of the shows...which probably explains why I remember so much of the nonsense from that show.

Jack Swagger. He was one of my favourite people in all of wrestling in his time on ECW. I will always have a fondness for him.

Test really looked good for a few months. Same for Big Show I find it amazing that two internet pariahs were reborn in ECW. Big Show was at his fattest, looked awful, was injured as f*** and disappeared for 18 months after losing the title, but during that title run he was having wall-to-wall great moments. Even the matches were good. And Test? Randomly fantastic. Good in extreme rules matches. I remember a Hammerstein show where Test and Mike Knox beat Dreamer and Sandman in an extreme rules match, and the match was killer.

Watching this makes me realise that some guys like Punk work better in these type of mush pitt environments than the typical WWE televised shows. It was the same with Goldberg, whatever booking choices they could have done with him he could not work in a sanitized place like on Raw, he needed to be in a grundgy Nitro-type place.

Yoshi Tatsu, who made me a wrestling fan again. Seeing Sheamus for the first time, and not thinking much of him. The Abraham Washington Show, which is best left forgotten.

Mike frigging Adamle, who by that point, was ALREADY botching (and later revealed he had epilepsy and brain damage from years of football) replacing the best commentator there ever has been.

Yeah, she was OK to me when I met her. Too bad she got the Matthews Stank during/shortly after.

Christian's run was almost flawless, except jobbing to Ezekiel in the end (TM Vince McMahon, genius promoter)

Nattie vs. Hornswoggle comes to mind. I don't know why. And Tyson's debut against Bao Nguyen, who was so embarrassed to lose to somebody who would choose such a hairstyle that he hung it up to become a referee.
It's weird to remember being interested in Swagger and Sheamus's feuds.
Looking back, I think my favourite thing about it was that Christian and Matt Hardy got to show that they could main event a brand. Both should've been treated better afterwards. The company is still so reluctant to really get behind any of the guys that are perpetually bubbling under the main event scene. I liked that, in these cases, WWECW was a place where they could essentially be treated as main eventers.

Great look, cool manager, and kickass theme song.

Remember going to a house show in Huntsville, TX with some friends. We cheered pretty loudly for CM Punk and remember him acknowledging us after the match which was cool.
Before the show we met Big Show, Balls Mahoney, CW Anderson and Tommy Dreamer. Big Show talked to us for about 30 minutes and was extremely nice and very funny. I have a hard time hating on him after that. just a really awesome guy. Told us a funny story about first meeting Hogan and crashing his motorbike.

Yoshi Tatsu's theme music, and the Christian/Yoshi/Goldust/Tommy Dreamer promo.
Thank you! No thank you. Thank you! No thank you! Thank you! No thank you. OK, it's getting weird now.
