He needs to, he's earned it. I'm a bigger fan of Cena with him not being on screen as much. He's lost his "I'm invincible because I'm here every week as 'the guy' and you know it" thing about him. What else would you call the US Title reign? And no. I don't hate Cena, but I certainly don't miss him. And for the people that are saying that they do miss him...

So will there be a Cena win over ADR, or will he feud with Rusev again.

I'm happy without him around as well, as it kind of forces the writers to make new stars. It's rough going now, but they should've been building new stars years ago anyway.
SuperCena was still suprenely boring but I'm not going to fault him 100% for that. He's earned respect and time off.

How I envision Cena's first day back on the job.

The "midcard title reign that Cena's involved in that isn't the main WWE Championship" which is exactly how it should be reign? It's lower on the totem pole and even if he's the guy he's going for a midcard title, two different things really. Besides that, your opinion of Cena is different than a lot of others. It's not concrete by any means. It varies.

No.
The poor ratings have nothing to do with the lack of Cena. You're delusional if you think he's that big enough of a draw that he's going to all of a sudden cause the ratings to jump back to normal.
All him being there is going to do is keep them from being forced to book better shows. They'll think "oh, Cena's back, we can put the belt on him and all will be fine!"
I'd rather watch Sheamus vs. Roman than Cena vs. Whoever, unless it's featuring a heel Cena, but that's not going to happen, so he can stay gone.

He returns next week. Takes the United States title. Goes back to Hollywood. Returns without it.

Oh yeah, everyone loves John Cena, as long as he doesn't show up to work to do his job.
(And no, I don't mean job as in "loses a wrestling match")

Well, I hope he takes the US Title back from ADR immediately. This guy has done nothing with it and quite frankly he killed any value Cena and Rusev brought to it before hand. If not Cena, give it to Owens.

If not Cena, give it to Owens. I like Cena more then Del Rio, and would've preferred it if Cena lost the US Title to a younger talent, but I really don't want to see Cena take the title back, resume the open challenge and then lose the Belt to someone who doesn't need it for a third time.

Alberto is waiting for Cena in the ring, Cena's music hit, a little pose, "glad to be back" to the camera, then he sprints into the ring and slides in, the bell rings and Cena AAs Alberto out of the ring and to the floor opposite hard camera. The announcers freak out and sell ADR having been tossed into a bottomless pit while Cena grabs his title, poses and leaves, no one ever bringing ADR or this return up ever again.

I'm...not. I mean, I stopped watching at this point, so my opinion doesn't really matter, but him coming back won't pull me back in. The guy who is the guy who when he's in a "midcard title picture" makes that overshadow the "top title", driving the last nail into the coffin that was my viewing history, isn't brining me back.

No, because the WWE doesn't even attempt to create an interesting or exciting product without him. So it'll just be more of the same sadly.

Still love Cena and I believe there's a good chance he'll beat Del Rio and do the Open Challenge again, so yes I'll be glad to see him back.

I haven't watched Raw since TLC but I think it's a safe bet that I'll tune in for Cena's return.
