Jeez, animated programs in that time period absolutely fell in love with rendering their characters in 3D.

There's so many throwaway 90s cartoons that just look like they used the exact same character references with the exact same body types and slightly different heads and costumes.

I'll be shocked if this wasn't made or at least broadcast in 1999. It premièred in Fall 2002 and ended March 2003. I taped a couple on SKY ONE back in the day. It was made as an "edutainment" series.

Stargate was such a good setting that it probably really should have been a cartoon, where they really could have taken advantage of the whole "it's a magic door that can go anywhere" premise instead of just the same 5 sets on Planet Canada every week. Not that SG-1 or Atlantis were bad by any means, they just had a tendency of feeling a little samey outside of the big storyline milestones.
