Does anyone know some good ideas on how to make some extra cash? I have a 9-5 job that tires me out but ive recently found time to run and study so i realized I had a lot more time than I expected. I saw some stuff online like 'start a blog + adsense" "blow dudes for money on cl" "walk 6,667 dogs" "be an uber driver for 10 years' etc. So i need a little bit of help. I do have some experience selling stuff on ebay but I know how commissions are on that site (10-15% per sell.) Anyone have any good ideas? or go in a project together?

I take surveys for extra cash. It's not a huge amount of money, but I make an extra 100 dollars a month, sometimes more. www.proopinion.com - This one pays fairly well. www.paidviewpoint.com - I've made about 30 dollars since May. It does work, it just takes times. www.mintvine.com - This one is ok. The only issue with this site is that the surveys have to clear before you get points so it takes a few weeks to get enough points to cash out. These all pay through PayPal or Amazon. |

Are there any colleges or universities in your area? Some of them perform paid studies and need average people for them. Easy stuff like doing surveys/answering questions on a computer, or taking tests/quizzes, or talking in focus groups.

before I was married I used to offer my services to cook meals for people. I gave them a grocery list and list of pots/pans/tools after they told me what they wanted. I bought no food and the only tools I brought was a pair of knives and my sharpening steel. I normally charged around $20 an hour if I could walk there.
My favorite jobs were when people would bring me in to run a grill for a party. Grill stuff for 3 hours, drink beer and get paid at the same time? Amazing!
But you have to be "known" to pull that off. Most of the jobs were for friends and friends of friends, and I was rather famous for being a hobby-type cook. If I was a real chef I could have charged a lot more and actually made a living. I was more or less just looking for something to do with my spare time. I wasn't in it for the money. But the extra cash was welcomed. The networking I gained from that was hands down the most valuable asset from that job.

Be careful with anything where you're reliant on others setting how much you'll be paid. A change to their T&Cs, commission rates, the way they do business etc can really screw you over. Don't think it won't happen, it does, make sure you plan for it.
