before I was married I used to offer my services to cook meals for people. I gave them a grocery list and list of pots/pans/tools after they told me what they wanted. I bought no food and the only tools I brought was a pair of knives and my sharpening steel. I normally charged around $20 an hour if I could walk there. My favorite jobs were when people would bring me in to run a grill for a party. Grill stuff for 3 hours, drink beer and get paid at the same time? Amazing! But you have to be "known" to pull that off. Most of the jobs were for friends and friends of friends, and I was rather famous for being a hobby-type cook. If I was a real chef I could have charged a lot more and actually made a living. I was more or less just looking for something to do with my spare time. I wasn't in it for the money. But the extra cash was welcomed. The networking I gained from that was hands down the most valuable asset from that job. That I like. I wish I had more friends though. But my dad is great a grilling so maybe he can kungfu panda me into it. Sell any precious metals you might have lying around Gold, silver, ebony, refined moonstone etc... I had some quicksilver ores laying around somewhere. Cook Crystal Meth with a local delinquent in a RV. it does give me a reason to break bad. Write a series of shit filled novels about teenage vampires in love. Watch the money roll in. I had an idea similar to that. But this involved young adults in a game where they have to kill each other. my car aint all that. maybe, if it was good enough for Seth, why not?

I'll actually admit to this one: I posed for a few art classes some years back. It was at the distinguished Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art here in NJ. No, I did not do it nude-I at least got to keep my underwear on. The human form is a legit topic for art classes of all shades, and there is a demand for now. I won't claim the pay was princely, no more than thirty bucks a session or so. But it did pay. So there's a thought.
