Watching Vader destroy Sting with high flying moves thrown in, and then watching Samoa Joe on NXT had me wondering how Vader would've been if he came up today.
First off Vader vs. Brock would literally be no holds barred and might be better served in an octagon. It would be violent beauty!
Vader vs. Joe would also be a great one.
Last thing while looking back I see why JR always sticks true to his statement that Vader was the best big man in the game ahead of even Andre and is underrated by most.

Vader is the freaking man. He embodied almost every nightmare a child could have had: he was big and burly, he'd put on a gravely voice, he hit hard and took joy from it, and if you felt you could at least outrun him, he'd throw you down and show "no, screw you, you're still dead, I can back flip off the top rope". Having Harley Race at his side made everything even better.
Joe is definitely a solid analogy; I always say that I wish TNA had taken the time to build AJ vs. Joe into their version of Sting vs. Vader.

You'd get bruised just watching Brock vs. Vader

If Raw cuts away due to blood, would it just go off the air if Vader put his eye ball back into socket?

Vader is underrated? Not by me! He was my absolute favorite wrestler growing up. I still think highly of the man and his matches, but my opinion of him has suffered from learning about how stiff he always was in the ring.

Vader vs. Lesnar is one of my dream matches. Late 80s/early 90s Vader vs. present day Lesnar would be a war. For me, it's up there with Sting/Undertaker and Bret Hart/Kurt Angle as far as dream matches go.

I literally had nightmares about this guy in the early 90s. The most convincing monster ever.

Vader vs. Taz. Let's see how much of a giant killer he would be.

After losing to Cena, he'd be renamed Dancing Bull or something

Vader was great- but honestly, if Vader came up today, he'd probably end up a far lesser star than he did in the 1990s.
Everyone's mentioning how great Vader vs. Lesnar would be- and it would- but through the time since Brock Lesnar debuted, he's spoiled people for what a monster could be by being as powerful and as fast as vader, but also far more muscular than Vader and being a far better technical wrestler than Vader was. As a result, people expect the same from their monster heels as Brock Lesnar, despite the fact that Lesnar goes past "monster", goes past "world class fighter", and goes into "3,000 years from now the exploits of Brock Lesnar will be seen as a mythological hero the likes of the demigods of old".
Vader would still be awesome, but he'd be compared to people like Lesnar and end up in the same level as many of the top monsters right now, where they're "good", but not at the level they could have been.

I'm also not sure how far Vader would get today with his level of stiffness, being snug sure, but his level could stop him ever getting to the main roster in the first place.

Vader vs. Taz. Let's see how much of a giant killer he would be. Gut reaction: That's crazy. How in the hell could Taz suplex Vader? Secondary reaction: Taz and Bam Bam Bigelow actually had a pretty memorable feud, despite the huge weight imbalance between the two guys. Maybe Taz vs Vader would work out after all.
