I am a biased opinion. My favorite wrestler today is Sasha Banks.
If you hate her, by all means, tell us why.
If you love her, be a fan and tell FAN why the Boss is who she is.
It begins with her entrance theme -
My favorite theme (I've already admitted I was biased, what did you expect?!) in the 'E today. It has good rhythm, a good beat that carries off well on speakers, and most importantly, the words are incredible. It talks about self-determination in the shadow of doubt and odds. It speaks of someone who rises through the muck and rises to become the queen/king they dreamt of being. Someone who got all they ever wished for. To paraphrase reigning UFC champ Conor McGregor, someone who is reaping the benefits of hard work and now gets to enjoy whatever they wish for, whenever they like it, and in a variety of colours.
In the ring...
Hard pressed, find me someone that doesn't put her in the top 5. Now that you've mulled it over, tell me TWO wrestlers that are better than her.
Given the opportunity to shine, she shows up, and shines so bright that nothing else around her matters. If tomorrow night, she walked into an NXT taping and faced Asuka, Nia Jax, Emma or Carmella, she'd run with it, adapt to their styles (because she works!) and deliver a great performance, one that made her opponent look like a star, and made her look like the sun.
She loves 'dis buisness
She wants to work. She wants to be the best. She has had the best match in the company in 2015, and I'm not even going to tell you which one it is, because she had 3 legitimate contenders to the honor. I get she wasn't alone, but if she's been there 3 times, she's due some god damned respect.
Sasha Banks, I wish the writers up there at 'E headquarters would get their heads out of their asses and realize that you are an international success now - we didn't see her at NXT:London, but lemme ask you this, had her theme blared out at any point during that event, tell me the crowd wouldn't have lost it - hell the "UNIVERSE" keeps chanting how they love her, it ain't only NXT cred.
There will be another women's match that ends RAW, and I guarantee you she will be in it, and furthermore, and please, find this thread in 2016 and quote me, she will blow the roof off the f***ing arena.
